Man I still remember when a big portion of the mavs fans didn’t want Kyrie on their team. He’s been great on the court but off the court he really has changed the culture of this team.
@steviechampagne2 күн бұрын
i don't think it was a BIG portion. Only the casuals didn't want it. everybody who actually knows basketball knew that adding KYRIE MFING IRVING would be game changing. He is the first superstar Luka ever got to play with
@Smido83Күн бұрын
For me it was never about Kyrie. It was about DFS and the 1st we had to give up, cause Cuban/Harrison f'ed up the Brunson extension. If we keep Brunson for 55/4, we never wouldve needed Kyrie. Or... couldve gotten him for Brunson/Dinwiddie and NO 1st at the 2023 Deadline.

Kyrie was always on teams I rooted against until he came to Dallas, so I never got to enjoy his greatness. The skill he plays with is so much fun to watch. KILLER KY!

bro same. Always liked his highlights and rooted against him. Now i like him as a person cause he is a mav and he probably was the same person all the years i dissliked him.

These Mavs are basically 4 shots away from being 14-4 (good for the 1 seed) going until this game with the Knicks. As much as I'm hating these close losses, that is encouraging.

Perfect analysis. I hate when Mavs fans act like kai is a No2 bc he can’t perform like Luka all game. Nah he stopped been too agressive after the Covid issue. Now he just wanna enjoy his job
@nataliahawthorn293 күн бұрын
Finally someone who actually watches kyrie. Kyrie was truly unguardable during his cavs, Boston, and nets years. But recently I been seeing Kyrie has been much less flashy and much guardable. Hes still a top iso player but has for sure not been the same. On the mavs he’s been more of a shooter rather than dribbler.

Look at all those no dribble pull up 3s in a defenders face.. very few players can shoot 3s without taking a single dribble, only sizing up the defender and using slight body movement to create space... literally Kobe-MJ esque.
