I absolutely love ❤️ this lion documentary I’ve watched it like 4 times now. I just never ever get bored or tired of watching these incredible animals. They are my absolute favorite animals in the whole wide world. It will definitely be a very terrible day when they don’t roam this earth 🌍 anymore. But hopefully that won’t be in my lifetime. I hope any way. They are such amazing creatures and so precious to this world 🌎. They are such friendly creatures and as far the cubs they are the most beautiful loving sweetest things I have ever seen. Well before I die I’m going on a safari holiday to Africa to go and see them. I’m from London England 🏴 so it’s definitely on my bucket list, 1000% x

You get attached to the characters (The animals) you follow and you have such high hopes for them so it's heart breaking when they go. Especially seeing Rosa in what looks like shock and her slowly realizing her son is gone. The son who was loyal to her, the son whom she was loyal to. No mother wants to outlive their child. Rest in peace Prince. You truly were a prince. 😢😢💔💔

So lovely that one the males decided to accept Rosa's adolescent sons -- extremely rare -- and one even stepped in when another lioness was being 'unreasonable' about his presence. So sad but beautiful too, that he and Rosa went looking for him together later. You'll notice that the male 'found' him, but hangs back, allowing Rosa to go and investigate herself. He definitely seems to know, and stays with her whilst she grieves, too. These cats are proven capable of abstract thought, including the ability for forward planning and calculating probability. So it follows that as highly social animals, they are doubtlessly also capable of compassion and emotional sensitivity towards each other, too.
