Based upon this video, the Black Diamonds have made huge progress since transitioning to the T-50, and they can certainly count themselves as ONE of the better teams in the world.

Superb sky art! Wow. Very technical wee display as well. Nice mix of manoeuvres and formations. Once again they're new to me, but what a joy to watch. We had the Reds here last weekend, just the 7 jets. Flat display due to weather but just seemed lacking 😕 Shame it wasn't this lot. Amazing 😮 👌 👏 Thanks again for sharing Sir. Putting 8 planes in a formation instead of 6 involves moderately elevated safety risk and operating costs. It is very impressive and I am very glad to see the Koreans doing this. It clearly shows another country can reach a goal it sets for itself. We need to see more of this to deal with Russian aggression.

As an American who has gone to TONS of airshows in the USA, you can see when these shows are on display in other countries how much more risk they take with their maneuvers, the execution and style. Theres a lot of this that they are not allowed to do in the USA nor attempted, but this team is pretty wild.

They are certainly very good and disciplined in close formation, and I personally liked very much some innovative figures, even if in manouvers the tail planes tended to fall behind. However, the Champions of the World fly a formation of ten - not eight - with a 40-years-old airplane....I'm very curious to see what the Frecce Tricolori program will look like when the new Macchi M-346 will come into service.... Big kudos to Black Eagles, a great team indeed!

Since Congress assessed the cost of upgrading our F-22’s to keep them combat worthy (whatever that means lol) and apparently 20-25 of them are already not combat worthy and strictly used for training, so in their opinion let’s just use that money on our next generation of air superiority fighters that will encompass all the good tech in the Raptor anyways. Ok fine fine so throw the people a bone at least and make the next era of the thunderbirds be F-22’s!
