Can’t believe an advertiser hasn’t put a billboard up there on the mill.

I was thinking about this. Its like looking at the mill through a gift wrap tube and the mill fills the whole view. If you kept cutting the tube shorter the mill would fill less and less and look smaller and smaller. Finally with zero tube left you just got a mill that looks far away and smaller than at the beginning. This is a fantastic catch by the way!

I also just figured out why the moon looks so huge when framed by trees and objects on the Horizon. wow a good day for me.

LOL - works every time, any season! I've been within 10 ft. of it on the water, it's quite large up close!

Cool trick here (if you're on a PC or mac) is to pause the video close to the beginning, and then to "measure" the width of the mill by dragging another window like an explorer or finder over the mill in the paused video and size it to the dimensions of the mill. Then move that "mill sized" window aside and let the video run. Pause again at the end of the video, and drag your mill sized window over the mill, and sure enough, your window is still the same size as the mill.

Can you imagine the first couple of potheads to discover this trying to tell their friends about it back prior to 2000 when the consciousness was below C-7 ?🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's an optical illusion created by several factors including the grade of the road, and the trees on either side. It's most effective in summer when the trees are full, but still visible in winter.
