Michigan alum…..and I was surprised when the Colt’s drafted Paye. He was not a pass rusher in college and the Colts have been very patient in helping him develop this skill. Good run stopper but, as of now, we have at least 3 or 4 better DEs at pressuring QBs. It will be interesting to see if our defensive coordinators can rotate this talent to optimize our effort. GO BLUE!!! 🙏👍👏😎🇺🇸

In all fairness, Paye was never a bonafide pass rusher even at Michigan. He was drafted for his potential to become a pass rusher.

I think Paye is good enough to be the No.2 DE. I have been very critical of the draft pick since day 1 (Wanted Darrishaw). But if Latu can become the man, along with Buck/Stewart in the middle, I think Paye getting around 8 sacks can work. Just have a pass rush specialist to come in for Paye on 3rd and long etc. No, hes not a great pass rusher but he is an excellent run defender, really athletic, moves well for his size and can get 8-10 sacks a year going forward.
