This is from the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Rattlesnake cave is on day 4 of 6. We were fortunate enough to get to go on a weeklong adventure rafting with the Infamous Stringdusters.

The River of No Return runs smack dab through wolf country. I’ve heard the wolves howling in that wilderness plenty of times. Perhaps you couldn’t hear the wolves howling because you were all cozy next to the river? Listen to the wolves howl. Full throat full volume wild abandonment. Learn from the wilderness.

All the instruments go down the river in their own boat. They had special dry bags made just for the trip - the dry bag for the bass is like 6x4 feet.
