By sending the Freemasons card and then the fort, Architects are able to build forts at an incredible rate, USA revolt ships 2 gatlings per fort, allowing you to essentially have infinite gatlings...tee hee!

i just watched harrison's vid on this exact strat (and same civ matchup) but there aztec won cuz it actualy played well, loads of arrow knights and later on a big fertility boom into imperial age, in this vid aztec player did basicaly nothing for 15+ minutes so italy could just do... that. i think aztec is one of the best civs vs this because its easier to make arrow knights that outrange forts and start sieging, other civs have to go age 4 to get mortars or heavy cannons (or any sort of age 2 pressure really) but if the build time gets increased to like a minute or more with 4-5 architects i think this can be balanced, but a fort for free in 12 seconds is just hilarious

This is exactly why aoe3 balancers has to focus to Age2 gameplay balance. Nobody is playing in age 2 anymore. For example china is always FF OP strategy. For example Hausa has zero seize units in age 2, (yes maigadi effectiveness comes at 12min mark , opponent already in age IV) aztec,india,otto azaps lame has strongest game2 seize, i think he missed to rush hard or did not understood Italy gameplan.

Dude hausa has the best siege unit in age 2... Raiders siege super fast and are really easy to mass. That said, this is just ridiculous

@@AgeofSunbros . Minute can men destroys 15 raiders under tc fire. 9 pike china shipment can counter double the raiders. A pike has much better value in seize. Easy strategy vs hausa is to camp they can never seize a tc with outpost.

@@lgtvsmart4078 raiders actually kill MM quite easily because of their bonus vs infantry. You just gotta pay attention, back off for 10 seconds, kill them and resume the siege. Pikes are a problem though but suggest a larger investment (card or barracks) My comment was however a reaction on "hausa have 0 siege units age 2" which is just untrue no matter how you turn it I agree the age up meta is a bit too much right now though
