Please tell me this wasn’t staged! A grandfather with clinch boots leaves them to his hip grandson, seems so rare! Almost as rare as clinch boots! Certainly a lovely production, and kudos to Brass Tokyo.

I have traveled FAR and wide and spent a lot of money trying to find someone who can make bespoke laced boots at their maximum shin height. There are only two others acknowledged in the boot community in the known world in england who can make a pair of laced boots like this but they REFUSE to make a pair without a spanish top. The other caters to triple digit millionaires and their prices are beyond heaven and earth. I grew up in massachusetts which was the epicenter of bespoke shoemakers in america at one point. Disappointingly none left exist but their grandsons still work as unique repair shops and hand made retailers.
