I just ordered this the other day once I realized how much more moisture polyglutomic acid holds than hyaluronic acid. I really realized my skin is so dehydrated and I need the most moisture I can get. ☺️ I think you would benefit from going to get your hair done, I do. I think the ingredients in the bleaching products aren’t as bad as the ones in the store 😘

I still haven’t tried anything from this brand, but I’m thinking this is one product I’ll skip on. PGA is so intriguing, but not necessarily as a stand alone product. The Saturday Skin eye cream I’ve been using has PGA in it, which has been my introduction to the ingredient. I’m definitely enjoying that product.

Thanks for the review. Hard to find reviews on PA. Question: Would you trade out HA for PA in your skincare routine or would you just stick with HA?

😊🥰😘...Fabulous review! I haven’t dyed my hair in such a long time. When I was in my twenties I usually dyed it a red/burgundy color. I’ll have to find an old pic. I need my hair cut too. It grows so quickly partially because I use a lot of natural hair growth products on it (one’s an amazing oil blend/serum that REALLY WORKS!) because I don’t want to experience any hair loss due to malnutrition. When I was at Cleveland Clinic once all of the nurses were amazing that I still had such healthy hair. I do loose a little more than usual when I wash it, but it’s not noticeable and looks fine. So Polyglutamic acid. This is a newbie for me but sounds amazing if the facts hold up. It would be nice if there were even a few other beneficial ingredients added, but like you said they’re like The Ordinary in that sense. I think it would be worth trying. Based on the Lactic Acid, I really like the brand so far. Oh, I was showing my Mom some of your videos and she kept saying how pretty you are:) And authentic as well. Good luck with your hair! I’m sure it will turn out fine. Thanks for the great review, girlie🍃🌸.

Sounds like it retains more water than hyaluronic acid, but is a much bigger pain in the ass to stabilize for selling, and if I have to use that much preservative, it's just not worth it. That's just me 😉

Great video! I am really curious about Polyglutamic Acid, but would like a product that also consist of antioxidants. Hopefully it happens in 2019! :)

It is so hard to find good products that contain PA, I'm not sure why, but so many products with this are very one-note. Could happen this year (fingers crossed)!

Funny, to me it smells like cinammon rolls, it’s so weird. I find it too silicone-heavy for my taste but it’s effective.

I might be tempted to taste it if it smelled that good to me! Nothing better than that smell... It is so hard for me to pass a Cinnebon Store without stopping in!

May I ask how you think this compares to say Beta Glucan In dry climates? Thanks 🙏🏼
@NOBSBeauty4 жыл бұрын
Beta glucan can be super hydrating, for my super dry neck I've finally found an ingredient that really helps, first I use a propolis serum from Iunik then I use the Scinic beta glucan cream afterwards. The combo works very well. The polyglutamic Serum is pretty light so I can never see myself using it alone, it really needs to be used with a Hydrating Serum before and moistuizer after.

I'd like to try some of these products. I went to Cultbeauty and they only show prices in British pounds. How did you order online from them?
@NOBSBeauty5 жыл бұрын
I had to google "pound to dollar conversion" so I could figure out what the price is for each product in dollars (kind of annoying). I love that they have some brands you don't see frequently in the US. If you spend over 40 pounds (around $50) you get free US shipping, if you spend over 150 pounds (about $200) you get free expedited shipping- which is crazy fast- faster than sephora's 2 day shipping. When I checked out I just clicked on PayPal as my way of paying because CultBeauty does have an iffy time with a few credit card companies- American Express they didn't accept. I think CultBeauty ships pretty much worldwide, very good company to work with from my experience.

@@NOBSBeauty I'll do that, thx. One last question. Did you pay in dollars or did you have to convert to pounds?
@NOBSBeauty5 жыл бұрын
It changes in PayPal pounds, but PayPal pulls out the amount in dollars. It's a little odd, it would be so much easier if they also had the info and prices in dollars.

Do you know if this is noncomedogenic?
@NOBSBeauty5 жыл бұрын
It does contain a few ingredients that can cause acne such as dimethicone and butylene glycol. Although I have a tendency to break out occasionally and this didn't cause me any issues.

Wil it work for oily skin?
@FourJaysFour3 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on how your skin does with dimethicone, a heavy silicone. I'm combo, but very oily in the t-zone. This was not a pleasant experience
