Unfortunately, very few cricketers ever get this opportunity to grind out a draw, as most cricket matches are a win/loss result, with whoever has the most runs at the closer of play, winning the match. Sure, you can play for a draw due to bad light or weather, waiting for the umpire to call the match, but it's not the same. It's really only those playing 1st class cricket (ie. Sheffield Shield (Aus), County Cricket (UK)) or Test cricket, where you have to dismiss a batting team twice, really ever get this chance.
