any other hunters bummed that this is really our only good option for doing solid dps? dont get me wrong i fucken love nighthawk, but like...i dont wanna use it for every fucken dps activity. ik for lower end content you can use literally whatever tf you want but when it comes to raids and dungeons some encounters just boil down to "honey its dps time, whip your ur still hunt/nighthawk combo w/ a gl!!!" and i get that with some bosses that load out is super free like witness, but other ones id rather be using something else. the funniest part is its still really hard to solo flawless vespers host as a hunter even with all that damage lol. ive been really digging stasis hunter this season as many others have but the super is so bland. like is it supposed to be a one n done dmg super or an area control super? im not sure its good at either tbh. the only other dps supers hunters have is blade barrage and lightning stick (cant think of name) and even those r not good options and neither r on prismatic. in fact ur only good dps option on prismatic is golden gun lol we have 11 millions guns in this game and alot of other exotics to pair with them and other supers so being funnelled into this build for so many encounters is kind of a bummer

@@skinnybepis9579 I wouldn’t say it’s your ONLY solid damage strat. Nighthawk is the best for sure but something like gathering storm star eaters isn’t bad. Plus there’s always tether. As for damage without still hunt? Stay tuned 👀

I mean for me depending on the boss and the situation I'm in I use the exotic class item with star eaters and shards of gallonor and I use the tractor can influence that extra debuff and honest to God it's to some of the best damage I've ever done. There are options but you definitely need to explore it and try to figure it out because if you're just thinking that's your only option then you're not really putting forth the effort to truly figure out what other things may or may not work

@@grimm2210 in a solo dungeon situation I would have a second load out centered around combination blow for add clear etc and swap to nighthawk for damage And in that scenario I’d probably have something like a rocket sidearm instead of lost signal until you get to damage

Wicked sisters real viability is autoloading cascade on warlock with euphony and a star eater broodweaver swap to sanguine alchemy. Edit: at 10:01 you say you need 3 shots to proc cascade with a rapid fire sniper, this is false. The reason why you see people use 3 shots of cloud strike but this is to proc the lightning strike and triple tap. If you were to use irukandi then 2 shots would be fine. Edit: great rotation and explanation of optimal hunter DPS though

I have not. But I imagine using wicked sister would probably be more ideal to match surges with euphony.

I’m not sneak but yes absolutely, might want to use the new exotic primary gl with the void area denial instead for guaranteed heavy

For explicator yes, he's pretty easy to hit your crits on for a cascade GL but for Nez you're probably better off using something like choir + Envious Chill / bittersweet / wicked sister specifically because Nez's crit box is terrible for cascade. (unless your team is sitting out in uganda and using a divinity)

where did you get the notion that rapid snipers require 3 precision hits to proc cascade? i use supremacy mostly for activating casc on my chill and it's always 2 headshots

It's from using cloudstrike, which has a lot of benefits to firing 3 shots, or missing shots when testing.
