Thanks! I always had a hard time making sense of the story cause I didn't even know the Captain was transferring his consciousness cause it wasn't always mentioned in the events I played, so even with the reruns I had a hard time piecing it together, although I still enjoyed the stories.

Funny enough, there's a lot more especially for each character of Captainverse like Bronie's Origin in Green APHO event(The most obscure place to put the lore is in the text, relevant and related only the several last part of the logs) where Luna saved Bronie from destruction of her birth Bubble Universe before she was in Night City Light Veil one.

That event was the biggest waterspit wtf moment in all of my years in Honkai, particularly how I half ignored it for being uninteresting, unfun and taxing on my device only to realize by the very end that it was Bronie's origin story. It was such a random and inconspicuous place to put important lore lol.

Captainverse starts since Summer of 2018 with "Summer Memories" event, with Captain The Player is indistinguishable from the character figure, even Captain himself is aware that the players inside him are controlling his every move, to Higokumaru in Sanka Saga event mentioned that Ferryman has multiple beings inside him, Odd Drifter event have Captain split into two then reunite again, to temporal amnesia he suffered with every Consciousness mapping jump that separated Ferryman from Captain to begin with Even the latest events referenced back of how Captain can use any Divine Key without hurting nor killing himself, that's an absurd feat for a normal human, and his spirit being ejected from Ferryman is eerily similar to Warhammer 40K lore of Star Child being ejected from Emperor of Man (before he battled one of his sons that named Horus Lupercal) Even both Captain of Hyperion and Star Child GROWS STRONGER as both of them respectively traversing through different dimensions and realms from Sea of Quanta (to the point surprising both Magical Sirin and Bronie that Captain can tear through Honkai Beasts alone), foreign ones like Dream Space (when echoes about Sanguine Nights event once haunted his temporal amnesia) and potentially even Imaginary Tree tampering since 2020 when he branched many timelines to saved Kongming Theresa and Emberyan Rita, something which Otto Schicksal shamelessly steal more than a year later in his animated short "Thus Spoke Apocalypse" finale He AWARES of main story events so many times in each events, even recurring theme of him remembering main story Himeko is part of that, Captain of Hyperion consciousness is similar to Anima Mundi or Adam Kadmon in real Religious concepts, with his body being constitutes of aggregates of all players), hence why Ai Chan remembers him as her "old pal" to even Bronie appears in main story, about one of famous remembrance of main story events is when he saw Herrscher of Sentience or seeing iterations of Himeko, it's like PTSDs to him

Ah yes. Sanguine Night. I remember played this event back then in JP server (I'm curious alright?! Back then, there's no such thing as game like this in mobile! And Qooapp is a thing) Back then this event just got released and I don't understand sh*t. Until Kallen gave the gun and two choices appear before me. Using my father book (he is a Japanese travel guide) I read the choice as: 1. Shot Kallen 2. Shot Luna That's when I know, Honkai wasn't just a mere game with waifus. Skip forward and Global version got released and after sometime, I finally able to purchase my own phone and HI3RD be the very first game on that phone. With the event of The Embriya Kingdom : Zero and The Day You Vanished With The Stars after. I'm absolutely devastated. Even traumatized from it. Never have I seen fireworks the same after that.

Finally. Ive been waiting for Captainverse stuff. Feels like it so underrated. Every main story only player seems to not know about it or hate it because "self insert" or because they cant accept sea of quanta concept and how character they know seem "out of character", despite the fact that Honkai have parallel world in the first place. Some even hate it because captain is a dude.

I joined the Captain verse storyline very late back during the Sirin focused event (I believe it was the third last one they did) and for the few events I was able to play and finish, *I really enjoyed the Captain verse storyline.* 👍 Even though I didn't know the entire story and didn't quite know all these characters had gone through, I could tell the writers put a lot of love and care into making this story and bringing these characters to life and I absolutely loved it. I especially enjoyed that ending scene with Luna and the captain during Captain's Ranch Tale by the beach.💙 With Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 officially started a few months ago, *I really hope they at some point start a MASSIVE RERUN of The Captain verse storyline.* I genuinely really want to know the full story of the Captain, Luna, Kongming, and all the others.

Quite sad about the ending of the Captainverse, was hoping for it to continue, not necessarily extend the lore but rather, just show the daily shenanigans of the Captainverse Crew, them just going world by world to have fun or do some crazy dum shi or something. Or again, just saving other Universe's Characters. Happy for the Happy Ending but also quite sad of the end of it. But I guess, Nothing is Permanent, everything has it's end, and I guess this is much better than it being butchered due to how long it has been happening.... welp, it is what it is.

Weird thing about Captainverse and also off topic to 3rd Impact I once heard that apparently there are 3rd Impact Devs that moved out from Hoyoverse to enter Kuro Games Studio and end up making Punishing Gray Raven And seeing how Captainverse is made and how PGR story is.... i wouldnt be surprised if the people behind Captainverse are the one making PGR I mean in PGR we even had someone named Luna who looks NOTHING like the rest of PGR cast and only look like shes being adopted PGR also has a canonical love intrest, however instead of Luna its Selena who is funnily enough still related to the Moon(More specificly, the Greek Moon Titan)

Bro seriously I love this game I remember playing in 2019 I play until 2022 daily and I really appreciate the way mihoyo do in honkai because gachas now this days you don't develop that much of the characters like man I wish we got more Mona or dehya (from genshin) storys or better another version what I love in honkai is the most of the characters have more than one version and to be honest that really cool most gachas this days just do one version, you talk a bit to then go to another place and most likely never seen then again, I prefer way more the honkai impact 3rd way do to things like man kiana mature so much on the story, it really was so fun to see her mature as a person, get stronger, not only her but Himeko even after death was still relevant we seeing her memories in kiana mind aways making her get better, Mei becoming part of the Kevin group, bronya, welt dang man I love this game so freaking much. I just wish they make the game more friendly, I stop to play the game because it is too much time demanding like we have events and they aways have dailys, we have abyss, elysia realm, memorial arena, open world quests, stigma stone farming, now we have part 2 stamina. This for a old player may be nothing but I'm a returning player and start new account since I lost my old and man that game takes a lot of time Jesus I'm not used to play gacha that much I only play blue archive and honkai star rail and both of the dailys takes like 15 to do all 2 of then. I still love this game but sadly I don't see me playing him anymore (I try part 2 tough and was really good omg honkai brings so much new things to the game the really shows the love for the game)

I agree. The Captainverse story felt like to me, what was once the Mihoyo that made GGZ and initially made Honkai Impact. As many might know, as they grew big, that feeling felt less and less, especially when you compare that to Part 2 of the main story, which was easily the most torturing part imo. Captainverse felt like what remains of the old Mihoyo. Which is why they decided to end this and Part 1, cause they are no longer the old Mihoyo we knew, and began a new with Part 2, Star Rail, Genshin, and ZZZ, for better or for worst.

Not 100% factual and there's a couple missing events. I get it some of them are done for comedic purpose but for those who are new can easily misunderstood some facts in the Captainverse. Would've been better if it was straight facts and serious. Edit: miHoYo really needs to archive the entire Captainverse. Other gacha games actually archive their events.

I hate captainverse because it’s tropey and cringe as much as I wanted to play the story myself lol. At first I don’t like the characters because the way they act is…very out of character (from my first impression) sometimes even suggestive that I can’t take them seriously (I started playing hi3 in 2023 even though I’ve known it since 2021) But oh well after watching this video, I’ve realized that they are more than pretty girls just loitering around, they have their own characters, story…unlike what the fandom usually depicts them…

@@Addition2 The latter half of the main story feels formulated like a Marvel movie. Every ark ends with a world-ending scenario with saving the "world" being the only reason the villain gets beaten. Captainverse feels more like the writer having a blast crafting a story without restrictions.
