Embiid came back from a deficit for a third straight win (and hit a sick GW), Jokic lost a lead in the clutch for a third straight loss. You're reading stats without context. Embiid is a far better defensive player. Jokic's steals are inflated because offences attack him. He's not that strong, he has slow feet, and he plays below the rim. He disappeared in the clutch.

He's somewhat right though. If Jokic's 37 18 and 5 assist is enough, they would have won. It didn't even helped hype his teammates and the problem I noticed about Jokic is that he doesn't commit much on defense like Giannis, Embiid or even Al Horford. I'm sure that you know that defense wins championships. On the part of his teammates, they don't have any schemes to defend these guards of GSW. What he needs to do now I think is to be on a receiving end and commit on defense more than he does right now.

If he scored 43, shaq would probably still say "he should have scored 50". The problem is that the warriors are simply too good for the nuggets. Jokic had 37 points 18 rebounds and 5 assists but he had two key turnovers in the final few minutes and missed a couple of key shots toward the end. Actually it's because Chokic got crushed by Draymond Green on offense and lost the important rebounds on defense, against a mismatch. You don't need "help" against this small lineup, are you the biggest, strongest player? Score more points. If LeBron can score 41 on the younger Draymond Green, then Chokic should be able to score 50, because Draymond is now older, and Chokic is bigger. Letting Will Barton take 13 shots is Chokic faults, not Will Barton. If you get the praise, you also get the blame. Choker Joker does everything but winning.

Its crazy to me that none of these guys ever mentioned Jokic not having much help the entire series. I don't care which of the other 2 MVP candidates you put on Jokic's situation, a single player can't carry an entire team in a playoffs series against a powerhouse team like GS. It's a team sport after all I'm not sure why they are all saying Jokic didn't have enough impact, obviously all eyes are gonna on him, so it not always easy for him to just score. Had the Denver had a healthy roster with Murray and Porter this could have been a more competitive series but as it stands Denver had no chance with Gordon or Barton being your second options and Green was none existent this whole series.

If they made it this far they should be able to do better. like cmon this team was a higher seed then the Timber wolves, clippers, lakers and the pelicans not just that they had one more loss then the Jazz soo if they can do that well without MPJ and Murray to beat out all those teams then they should be able to make something work in the playoffs.

Could it be other great players around the league see the favoritism I spoke on already, and they know joining a team with either of those two would lead to them getting all the blame while jokic or luka get all the praise? Maybe other players quietly take offense to all the pre crowding of players who haven't accomplished anything yet. As long as the league keep treating them like babies making excuses for them they won't see any great teammates unless it's by draft or forced trade. It's hard to respect. If stats were the only indication of having an impact on the game then Westbrook would be the goat Jokic is the goat of empty stats, just like luka, Westbrook and harden…the only difference is that we are allowed to call out harden and Westbrook for it, but if you call out luka or jokic for that inefficient, stagnant, low ball movement, high usage rate style of play you will get called r@c1st like ppl are in the comments calling Shaq and Kenny because they aren’t on their knees for jokic praising him lol You would think that a player like jokic is a better passer than somebody like curry but the real reason why curry doesn’t get 10+ assist a game is because he plays team ball and doesn’t hold the ball looking to stat pad his assist, he could easily get 10 a game and average a double double but he decides to sacrifice empty stats for playing off ball, movement, getting his teammates hit and letting them get touches instead of hogging all game and only passing for his teammates to padd his assists This is what you jokic and luka fanboys don’t understand…their style of play will never work, even if they get better players Team ball and great defense will always resign supreme…no hero ball like luka and jokic plays
