Dude we can all give him his credit without deteacting from someone else's. Dude is a beast no doubt. He he ended the regular season poorly while embid finished with a blast including that monster game against the celtics. He more than deserved the MVP this year. (I WOULD STILL TAKE JOKIC OVER HIM IF AM GIVEN THE CHANCE TO BUILD A CHAMPIONSHIP ROSTER). BUT HE FRANKLY SHOULD BE THE REGULAR SEASON MVP WITHOUT A DOUBT he outscored jokic by 10, even rebounds and has twice as many steal that jokic. That's him literally being better on both offense and defense that jokic. And 76ers still had a better team record. I'm so mad at the narrative being dished out when Nuggets went on a cold run at the end of the season. Sixers was also on a cold run near the end! Jokic was leading in every advance statistic and Nuggets were number 1 seed. Yet, apparently you had to be champion to get three consecutive mvp. Bunch of BS.
@erik2757

Also the first 10-15 games of the season, jokic was barely averaging 20ppg. Not that he couldnt put up more but he was making sure his team got going, and they were winning anyway without him having to go crazy with scoring. Hes a teamfirst guy and that just translates to winning. If he put up more points at the start of the season his average wouldve been way higher than it was at the end of the season.

Jokic is like watching a Master Class in Playing team ball. The guy reads the court, waits for his teammates to move into position, then gets them the ball without breaking a sweat. @@will-zj5gq Just watch the game, I don't even care about stats, but the fact that you could literally see that Murray was the weakest player in ALL of their playoff games so far is telling a lot. He literally keeps chucking up bad shots for no reason, just play within the offense and move the ball, especially if you can't create space consistently and get good shots on your own. It's very simple, if you have a higher chance of scoring elsewhere, go to it and be a team player.

As a suns fan I kinda expected this to happen. The media was hyping us up as an unstoppable force acting like CP3 wasn’t missing and acting like the bench playing great during two home games will translate to a rowdy Denver crowd that knew they had to get wild for their Nuggets. Nuggs are the better team and I’d be shocked if the suns squeezed this one out. Next interesting off season ahead. Regardless I think our window starts next year we lost to much for KD this year.
@parisbillups9696
@parisbillups9696 Жыл бұрын
Because of this statement not only are you a Suns fan, but you’re a REAL man! It’s not over until it’s over, but your analysis and humility caught the attention of a normal NBA fan/ Bucks fan, and a lot of people don’t have that level of humility and positivity. Good luck to your team next year and hopefully both of our teams make great off season moves. Again, it’s not over until it’s over. Monty has made good adjustments this series if I was you I’d wait it out, but I do feel like Denven is just too good and probably have the better coach, or at least a coach that has his players trust. Ayton is just wayyy too soft and I’m not sure if you can coach the nature of a person out of the person. It’s either in you or not. Good luck tho 👍🏾

Genuinely don't get how he didn't win MVP. Embiid had more ppg, Jokic had more EVERYTHING ELSE. 76ers had 1 more win than the Nuggets overall. That cannot possibly outweigh the statlines, especially when you look at games won/lost with/without each of them. Jokic is the definition of MVP, Joel is the definition of Great. There is a difference, and Jokic not winning is just a robbery plain and simple.

I know arguments about the 'G.O.A.T' revolve around mostly guards, but man... if you are a GM/Owner of an NBA franchise... the durability... the ridiculous passing ability, the consistency in scoring and rebounding numbers, the 'keeps his nose clean' factor.... it wouldn't be that hard to argue that your first pick of all NBA players to be your 'franchise guy' for his career should be the Joker. You can count the number of games he misses each season without taking your socks off. He averages 77 games played out of 82 (remember one season there were only 72 games played... he played all of them). He only missed double-digits this year because of 'load management' essentially. Missing a handful near the end of the season with 'calf tightness' during garbage time after they had secured home court throughout. When you're the number one target on your team for the defense and a big man that is astonishing. I know AC Green is the most famous 'iron man' in NBA history, but Joker isn't far behind. Add in the 'triple-double' pace and in the top 3 in assists in the league for the season? Remember there are 30 starting POINT GUARDS in the NBA whose JOB is to get assists and Joker outperformed 28 of them. 2nd in rebounds only behind AD per game, but because he played in far more games led the league in total rebounds. Top ten in steals... a Center... 60 starting guards in the NBA and Nikola Jokic is top ten in steals. Averaged 25 per game on 63%+ and 38%+ so his PER led the league (again) 31.8. He's only 28...

Common dude there is simply no way you can realistically say jokic outperformed him THIS regular season. ALTHOUT LIKE I SAID EARLIER I DO BELIEVE JOKIC IS A BETTER PLAYER THAK HIM. JUST NOT THIS REGULAR SEASON
