bad habits will eventually catch up against better teams . lakers gave them a false sense of security in close wins but this twolves team is the number 1 defense for a reason. Now when The McNuggets are down 20 its over because the wolves won't let you back in the game with them being able to guard anybody the nuggets have . dlo and reeves bad defense aren't there to mask the nuggets weakness any longer they are officially exposed as a team that plays around for most of the game and thinks they can flip a switch. last thing is jokic is kind of soft and cant ever dominate when he faces any kind of real resistance from legit bigs

When a team wins, people/pundits/analysts think they are perfect. I have been complaining about this Denver since the first round. They didn't play well against the Lakers. All the 4 games they won against the Lakers were very close. In fact, the Lakers led for most minutes. Denver just had their way in the last 3 minutes of those games. If the Lakers had a little bit better defense, they would have knocked out Denver. The Lakers blew up 15+ points lead in 2 out of the four games. That won't happen against the Timberwolves. Denver is getting swept.

IF they just let Chet stick in the paint and grab putbacks it might be a bad series for Dallas, but if they can force him to take tough shots midrange or hooks, it might be Dallas. I've been high on Chet since he came into the league, but he's gotta bulk up A LOT this offseason in order to really go far.

To be fair, the main “issue” with the trade was that KAT would be tasked with guarding 4’s full-time. And he was already viewed as a a sub-par defender against centers at best. But a lot of his improvement is cause Ant’s leadership. He definitely got KAT to man up and play better

Penny helped him get to the finals in 1995 and Horace Grant, Kobe and company and Wade was the main player for him in Miami. Shaq got his best wins when Ewing, Robinson and company were retired and Hakeem was well past prime. Shaq always jealous. Started with Penny and the media calling Orlando Penny's team during season he started out hurt and so forth. Still great years but over the 4 ring thing too. Teamball wins. Jordan never beat the great 1980's NBA East teams due to 0 help.

Yes, it's over. All the Nuggets problems many analysts are just discovering were there against the Lakers. Their winning just covered it up. They won 2 of the 4 games with Murray's last shots. The Lakers blew up 15+ lead points in 2 or 3 of the games. Almost in all the four games, the Lakers were in front till the last 3 minutes. Denver just managed to be exceptional in the last 3 minutes of those games. If the Lakers had a little bit better defense, they would have knocked out Denver. The series is over. They are getting swept.

Love how the timberwolves are playing right now. Literally like a pack of wolves playing good basketball. AE been killing it all year, and the whole teams stepping up. Great defence. I got bucks as my team since COVID but the wolves are playing great, and against Denver, who also play great ball. Loving the play offs. 😂
