We have been on the Jubilee twice and loved it. It never really felt too crowded. Did we have to wait in line from time to time? Yes, I have had to wait in line on smaller ships too. All in all, we love the newer and bigger ships.

I beg to differ. I have been on the Carnival Celebration and it was extremely crowded compared to the Oasis class ships I have been on.

Thanks for this info Corey, my family used to love Royal Caribbean, especially the smaller/mid size ships. After our last 2 cruises on their mega ships we are now looking for a new cruise line due to the food quality going down hill and the crowding on the ships. With a family we did have to sail when school is out so yes it was busy season but all over the ships there were just lines with people waiting for everything. And I mean like a 20 min wait to get into the buffet, 20 min to find a table, 20 min for the drink machine...ect. The pools were closed to being full, the gym was at capacity in the mornings, 45 min wait for flo rider...ect

Just did Icon of the seas and that ship was at capacity and was so darn crowded with such long lines everywhere. People constantly pushing and shoving at the buffet and the pools at capacity during sea days. It was not a fun vacation for my family, please Carnival do not make your new ships worse that that.

Harmony of the seas was just as bad, so long lines all over the ship made for a bad cruise experience.

@@tduck828 Didnt think the lines would be so long. Spent half the cruise waiting in long lines. 1 hour wait for the zip line, 45 min for the water slides. Myself and kids did not enjoy the trip.

It would be nice if Carnival would not pack the people on the new ships. I understand there will be lines but hopefully not long ones.

Never tried the Carnival large ships but want to. Been cruising with Royal since 2015 and the last 2 cruises in 2024 have been on the huge ships, Icon and Wonder, and felt much more crowded for some reason than normal. Obviously, we knew we would wait in lines but did not expect to spend so much time waiting for such a long time in the lines. The buffet line was almost ridiculous, and the line to washy washy before yummy yummy was 20 minutes. And is it just me or has the food quality gone down in 2024 with ROyal?

I personally do not enjoy the bigger ships because of the crowds, wait/ lines and the limited port stops.

Is it Ace or H class? My family did a group cruise on Harmony of the seas when it was at capacity. We did not enjoy the vacation due to all the people and very long lines everywhere. Long lines at the buffet, hot tubs, pools...ect. Rude people push and bump into you constantly. If this new class of ship is worse, I cannot imagine anyone would enjoy a vacation on these new ships. My family will never do another oasis or Icon class again.

@@Libra67jtc Like myself, this person probably expected lines but not that long of lines. I was on Icon and waited 45 min just for 1 trip down the waterslide. Never again for me.

@@Libra67jtc Who said I did not expect lines? ...seriously I did not expect the people pushing and shoving at the buffet lines and to wait so long. People were fainting in line it was so long.

Highly doubt this. Cruising is getting more popular and ships are sailing beyond capacity sometimes (RC had an issue with this in past) and had to bump people...
