Very cool and very smart way to solve the problem! I enjoyed following the steps very much. Thank you and keep it up 👍🏻

been doing way harder integrals recently, so when i saw this my instant thought was to use the summation operator, but i guess it's good sometimes to come back to plain integrals loving your channel as it gives me a small break from harder stuff

I solved this in a similar way, except I integrated e^u sinu by integration by parts two different ways, then set them equal to each other.

Gracias señorita por el integral y por su excelente discurso.

i did a very similar one earlier today except i started with e^xsin(x) so i didnt get to do the first step, very cool!

My approach before watching, using the identities sin(x)=im e^x and sin(x)-cos(x)=sqrt(2)sin(x-π/4): int sin(ln(x)) dx =int im e^i(ln(x)) dx =im int x^i dx =im 1/(i+1) x^(i+1) + C =im (1-i)/2 x e^i(ln x) + C =im (1-i)/2 x (cos(ln(x))+i sin(ln(x))) + C =x sin(ln(x))/2 -x cos(ln(x))/2 + C =sqrt(2)x sin(ln(x) - π/4) + C

(And why here in Brazil the content of Calculus 1 goes up to the definite integral and content related to Calculus 2 and 3 is shown on foreign channels related as Calculus 3 and "differential equations"?)

Wow, never seen that use in integration by parts before And the result is dangerously close to Euler's identity, why is that?

The explanation is pretty good. One recommendation though is to use Adobe podcast to get rid of some background noise and static. Other than that, it was pretty cool.

Why don’t you use DI Method

personal preference! you are welcome to use it, and it should lead you to the same result :)
