Thank you for the interview! There are moments in life when you know your thoughts of life will never be the same again. For me one of them was when I listened for the first time Levin telling about the planaria/barium experiments. It is incredible how he can formulate his thoughts and words so that even a musician, without any scientific background, who actually hardly passed his basic school, can understand his work and thoughts. It is also very pleasing to notice that very intelligent people, who have studied in great universities and do understand science on a completely different level than me, are also thrilled with his thoughts.

A very deep thought that I ponder since I met with Michael' s profound wisdom is this: What is the Level above us and what does it require from us to work Properly?

Thank you, Dr Cooke, for posting this conversation. So glad to hear that Michael Levin has been sharing ideas with Nick Lane! (@51:37.) YAY!! Michael recently talked to Mark Solms and to Karl Friston. Some mind-bending ideas in his discussion with Friston in particular. I'm very hopeful that some fascinating new concepts to explore will come out of the Levin-Lane discussions. Note to Dr Levin: When you've gotten a recording of a conversation with Dr Lane, please post it. And thank you so very much, for all the thought provoking conversations you've been having with such a wide range of inquisitive minds. What a privilege to listen to them and learn - for free!

I suspect there are also self sustaining/increasing, anti entropic patterns that occur on scales we cant percieve. Not because we cant discern the meaningfulness, but because we lack the phyisics. For example patterns that occur on the scale of universes, or plank lengths, or within black holes. Or they are temporally invisible, having "lives" of microseconds or aeons. For example if you watch a recorded plant on a high fast forward, it looks like a hydra or worm type animal.

The DNA stores the data till the brain comes back on line. A lot of organ transplant recipients experience preference changes that relate specifically to the donor, downloaded from their DNA once the whole body system accepts the new part. There is no junk DNA, it's back up data storage from your unique I AM signature within existence itself.

... I know there is advanced , let's say 'math' if a mathematician talks to me about it - I will become 'glassy-eyed numb, because I don't understand. This is what I appreciate the most about Dr Levin - he is capable of communicating high scientific facts in a way that even my simple mind.. can grasp. We are all so fortunate to have him share his findings

You are both so close. Just go ahead and declare the existence of intelligence without material substrate.
