the build is looking epic, can you out the poptop roof down with the floor stacked to one end or do you need to move them back over the hole each time you put the roof down?

Been following you since the start of this build, and I must say it's becoming amazing. Really, really great work! ...& BtW: bulgur originates from the Middle East, but has become quite popular in Scandinavia during the last decade (& or two).

Turning out excellent and obviously pleasing for you Chris to see your efforts coming to fruition. It's a learning curve but you should be proud of the workmanship. Your dad would have approved.

Great episode, and the new OutFit icon looks really good. Chris your dad would be very proud of your carpentry skills the cabinets look wonderful and am glad that you kept the wood natural. Now that you're nearly done with part 1 of the build you are going to have fun getting the shop cleaned up. LOL can't wait for your next post. Many thanks for the posting. ☑✅✔

Get the yoyo pram that folds incredibly small. Also carryon approved so if you fly anywhere it doesn't have to go in the hold and won't get damaged.

Should make a cover for those tank vents otherwise they will get contaminated/plugged from the dirt fligging up from the wheel. Awesome video guys, so excited, its so close to take out exploring!

They have caps on them. However, something like a mud-flap would help to keep debris from clogging up around them. I'm still not clear as to where they intend to go and in what season, but if somewhere where there is a lot of snow, then they will find that the wheel wells will clog up with a lot of snow which will freeze if not removed. More than mud, snow would be the biggest nuisance to accessing those tank connections. It all depends on where and when they intend to travel.

Get a Babyzen Yoyo stroller. They fold up to the size of a pizzabox (or a stack of pizzas!). Will fit in the overhead baggage compartment in a plane. Ours went round the world several times with our 2 kids. Sold it recently (for a profit!!). Best in class.

By chance, I came across your Unimog videos, and I was hooked from the very first moment. After that, I started following the build of the TGB and watched it all in one go. Now I’m completely caught up and have to wait a week for the next episode. I absolutely love your work and can't wait to see what you come up with next - keep up the amazing job!

Outnabout v5 nipper sport pram is Highland blue would match your colour scheme. 12kg 3 wheeler pram with front brake. I have one and it's best pram for walks off the beaten track. Wheels come off and it would fold down nicely in the roof bag

Great video again! And as a dad of 4 I might advise you to just not use a pram… it takes a lot of space and most times you can use the baby/kid carrier.

The inside is looking very nice indeed. It couldn't have been easy to do this kind of work in a country where the language is different and the materials unfamiliar. I had the same issue when I first came to Japan 33 years ago and that was just shopping for household goods. I'm well past that stage, but trying to get parts for my European caravan can be a challenge as many will not send out of the EU and the UK being the WORST offender of all and are very reluctant to send anything anywhere if it has a foreign address. Thankfully you got your visa, but if you would have had to go to a non-EU country, the closest choices would have been Norway or the UK. Personally, I would have chosen Norway. Switzerland would have been another choice of course or any of the UK Crown Dependencies such as the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney & Sark), the Isle of Man, which are not part of the UK, but obviously are linked to it. Luckily, that wasn't necessary,

Water system is really interesting and well thought out. How about just using the external vents for when you’re filling the tanks. Then putting a little tank breather with six mil or eight mil hose coming up inside the vehicle to decent height. In that way you can keep the external ball valves closed all the time. Relying on there always being a, vent internally that is kept clean

If you are traveling in Europe or North America you may have to be careful with the waterfilter in their wheelwell because in winter that is going to freeze and crack.
