Oh I remember watching this Direct live. My jaw dropped wide open once I realized what the trailer was for (😳😱). I have plenty of fond memories with Link’s Awakening and it really made me happy to see it again after so long 😊

I much prefer it when you get to see a specific persons full reaction rather than just their reaction to this part and then to the next part once everyone has had their reaction to the first part. It just takes forever to see anyones full reactions and a lot of them weirdly cut off just when I really don’t want it to cut off. Just a suggestion for the future.

That's so cynical. Most people are hype because it's a new Zelda and they like Zelda, even if they're not familiar with every single game. Just because they don't recognize the OG doesn't mean they're "faking" it.

Like others have pointed out in the comments: You can clearly spot the fake Zelda Link's Awakening fans here. Those who think it's a "new" Zelda when they see the opening of Link on the boad hit by lightning. Every Link's Awakening fan can put 1 and 1 together as soon as they see Link on the boat in the storm (I know I did and I didn't hear any rumors about this remake). Damn. There are so many fake nerds and fans out there. Look, it's fine if you never played the game as a kid. Some of them are a little too young for that anyway. But just admit it. Don't act like you have always loved Link's Awakening and you can't wait to play it. This fake hype is annoying.
