I'm a sucker for gloss red, and the stripes are a nice touch. The livery is pretty basic, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It's leaps and bounds better than their dollar store diecast livery from 2015/16.

Mercedes: C- (Not a bad livery at all, but it’s just THE same thing year after year after year) Ferrari: C+ (Again, not bad, good venerable scuderia, but leaves something to be desired) Red Bull: B- (Testing livery is still miles better, but you can’t argue with the real one) Force India: A- (The pink looks fantastic and actually makes the halo bearable) Williams: D- (Its. Exactly. The. Same. And still boring) Renault: A (Who knew yellow could look so good? Really aggressive looking. Hopefully it will make for a better performance?) My reviews on the new car looks: mercedes 5. Ferrari 9. Red bull racing: 6. Force india 7. Williams 5. renault 7.5. toro rosso 5. Haas 7.5. mclaren 6.5. Sauber 7.5. Ferrari: I'm not a Ferrari fanboy, i just really like the aggressiv look on it! Mercedes: just the same thing again this year, please come up with something new. Red bull: looks good, but still the same. Force india: Same collors as last year, but really look good on how they disigned it this year. Williams: COME ON!!! GIVE US SOMETHING NEW!!! Renault: Looks okay i guese. Toro rosso: again, please give us something a little more new. Haas: looks clean and nice... nothing more to say. Mclaren: Nice with an old livery, but still dosen't fit the car too much, but looks clean. Sauber: The colors fit really well here, and the logo looks nice.

The hate for the McLaren livery might have something to do with Zak Brown Americanizing it. Yes, early McLaren F1 cars were papaya orange, but the blue was not featured as prominently in F1 as it was in Can-Am and USAC.

A lot of people tend to like the Sauber livery, especially the back. It's too bad most of the drivers won't see it. Also glad that Mclaren seems to be doing better so far. Seems Stoffel likes the hypersofts quite a bit and he's set blistering times on them. On the flip side, a bit worried about Verstappen and how his car can't seem to hold its liquor (fuel?) down.

My ratings for the liveries: Mercedes: 6 (same old, same old. Although a little bit more interesting with the black on the side) Ferrari: 7 (definitely better than previous years, a lot more red and brighter as well) Red Bull: 7.5 (great livery, but same as previous years. Big Aston Martin sign on the rear wing is quite nice; wasn't that fond of the camo livery) Force India: 3 (actually looks more like a Barbie car than last year, because of the white and pink stripes; woeful) Williams: 5 (slightly better than last year, but really boring, I would like to see them go back to the dark blue from early 2010s. I believe Martini will be ending their contract, so that will probably change the livery significantly next year) Renault: 8 (has been one of my favourite liveries the last couple of years, although I wasn't a great fan of the yellow to black transition on last year's cars (also the driver's suites looked awful)) Toro Rosso: 9 (love this livery, obviously same as last year, but the dark blue goes well with the silver and the bright red (could be a little bit darker) finishes it) Haas: 7 (huge improvement from last year especially the beginning of the season when it had the same colours as it now has; just a lot cleaner, great lines, the haas logo looks just better and the livery especially looks good from the top) McLaren: 6 (not a big fan of the blue; new orange color looks fine to me, but definitely needs more sponsors on the side or some different lines to make it more interesting). Sauber: 10/10 from the rear, 4/10 from the front. Alfa Romeo style on the back is great to see along with the cherry red, but the front is even more boring than the Williams. That makes it 7/10.

Red Bull's "testing" livery wasn't even for testing. They announced that it was just a launch livery, and that it would probably change by testing. Why are we even mad about this (outside of "why, Red Bull, didn't you keep the launch livery?")

The halo looks fine at car launches, where the seats are empty. The slow motion replays that always get used in fan-made highlight videos won't be so cool anymore, though, because of how awkward the drivers will look in the cars.

Agreed! Renaul best livery of the grid this year! I loved the previous lievery of RBR, but the final one didn't impressed me. Loved the STR one too.

Most teams asked if there could be an extra day at the next test due to the lost day with the weather. Two teams refused which would not be too hard to guess who. It's like a Kindergarten for adults.
