This girl at school has been saying how I will never get asked to the dance, and how I won't ever have a relationship, that I am weird, etc. This showed me how that is not okay, it's hard to remove someone like that from my life, but at least now I know it's an issue. I know this is way overdue, and I really don't mean to target anyone, but can I just say that I am really annoyed by some of the comments saying that they can't believe people thought Dan was ugly or whatever? I mean, that's not even the point of this video. The point is that cyber bullying and rude and mean comments are flooding the internet and targeting millions of people who are just trying to make a point and that as a generation whose fingers are on the pulse of the internet it's our duty to actually try and curb this. Neither Dan nor Phil or anyone else for that matter is particularly concerned that people call them ugly when they're not to most people - their main concern is how the internet, which started out as a haven for us socially awkward/introverted/shy people, has now become a platform for horrid and mean comments. And I think as viewers who know and understand and have most possibly faced this, we really need to focus on that. Sorry for anyone who just got a headache reading this entire (rather unnecessary) rant, and please don't be offended by this!

I'm actually FINALLY coming across this, which I feel so late for, given this was about five months ago, but I just wanted to say how incredibly amazing this is. This video has honestly opened me up to brighter horizons in means of being more positive and actually talking to someone about my problems. I absolutely adore this. I get bullied, whether it be on the internet, at school, or just randomly coming across someone on my daily routine and I never talked about the things that had really been bothering me. I'm pretty sure that Dan majored in Psychology at university. He's so knowledgeable about it and he has gone really deep in some of his other videos. So, either he did some intense research or he definitely majored in Psychology. I love that lots of people are taking this seriously. I think that this show has helped bring out the best in all of us. And now we can share our cyber bullying problems with the people who can actually relate to them. The decent people on the internet overpower the mean ones!

As someone who is weirdly sensitive, the internet can be harsh. I take basically everything personally, no matter how hard I try not to. I have a sarcastic and slightly dark sense of humor though, so youtubers like Dan and Phil are perfect for me because they are extremely kind and good people, and even their least innocent jokes are still inside this bubble world of good intentions and intelligence and kindness. It feels like home to me. A place to be creative and free and not always PG or PC (ha rhymed?) but always safe and loved. And I think many other people feel the same. When home isn't a great place, a lot of people come online, and it's wonderful that there are youtubers who create these little homes with their shared humor and communities, and even better when they are positive places to be. I like you guys.

I had an emotionally abusive friend for a long time (about a year) And it was really hard to break away from her (mostly because she was in the same grade as me and we lived on the same street) I found talking to my mom about it helped me alot. I also talked to some of my better friends . The Internet helped me as well. I have a few really good friends on tumblr and they have delt with the same situation. Talking to people I trusted really helped me. So if your in any kind of abusive realtionship with anyone (friend partner parents) opening up and talking to trustworthy people (parents teachers good friends) can really help.
