Why can’t channels like this grow alongside the movement? It’s better that they keep it in-house rather than out-sourcing everything. Risky Roadz only had 1k subs one day, so did GRM Daily, Rinse FM… Grime’s predominantly an underground scene, there’s no room for elitism.

@@Jw10395 ⁠I think some of the Invasion Alert guys just dropped a cypher on the Red Bull GMT channel, so maybe they’ll do that as well. Imo it’d be better if they only use the mainstream channels for special occasions. When it comes to weekly shows I like the idea of building up local/underground platforms. If you try to sell to the masses from day 1 it comes across a bit beggy, Grime always thrives when it just lets things grow organically from the bottom up.
