For years, I lived right next to Kingston, New York. Spent many hours as a kid walking along the shores of the Hudson where those brickyards used to be. Hutton bricks was a big one. Lots of cool ruins and very tall smelting chimneys that are still standing today. A lot of them are around the Rondout Marina.
