I hate shooting an IS 3 in the turret, cuz it has the old armor lay out way, its not the variable armor thickness thing, its the thing where they put individual plates of different thickness all over it making it volume metric hell

@@deathmacke9474 HEATFS post pen damage is based on the amount of armor it has to pen, it may have the penetration to go through said armor but the post pen would be like hitting the crew with a wet sponge if that’s what you’re referring to, or are you talking about APHE?

I absolutely love the IS-3, it’s carried me to a nuke quite a few times alongside the SU-122-54. It’s relatively long reload is one that I don’t mind, because the shell actually does something when it penetrates (*cough* conquerer *cough*)

@@philips0905Its depends on the map. I find it great on middle sized maps with good cover and long range shots. But it doesnt perform well in tight cramped maps and hilly maps because of no gun depression and long reload.
