col0s I’ve loved, studied, and learned so much about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals since I was three years old. Playing this game one day would be a dream come true. 😃 My personal favorite has always and forever will be the T. rex, but I also love the Utahraptor in this game because its broadcast has the same sound effect as the Velociraptor in the Jurassic franchise. 🤩 And the Allo’s broadcast roar is so epic! It almost reminds me of the ones I saw in a certain BBC documentary series.

col0s Oh, sweet! 😁 I know they’ve been updating The Isle a lot lately and I also loved the new roar they applied on the T. rex. My God, it’s impressive and terrifying at the same time! I read information about the Ceratosaurus in this game; I didn’t realize it was related to the Carnotaurus. Fascinating, though! Also, too, they should really update the Spinosaurus in The Isle because that fictional bipedal one’s getting real old for me. 😅

I came here because of 1:57. Yeah. There is a game on roblox called Dinos World (now Ancient Earth), and the Carno had a weird roar to me. Then someone said the roar is from The Isle

@@col0s I agree. It's the perfect call for defending a nest or a body. I recommend playing as an adult Trex- As you are literally the strongest (possibly) dino in The Isle so far. *Except for the puerta, of course.*

I've frequently heard a strange echoing two- part call that seems to start with an "h" sound, and I wish I knew what it was. I used to think it was a pterosaur, but I know now what the only pterosaur sounds like. It sounds like something a theri would use, but I didn't think there were theris is Survival. Sorry for my vague explanation, but using that, can anyone give me a clue?

@@col0s Thanks :} I rarely come across the Tacos, but it sounds somewhat too loud for either of the small AIs. It's such an odd sound, the KZbinrs I watch playing The Isle almost never hear it. I still wonder if it's a pterosaur, but they're currently removed right? Or at least to the point that only devs can play as them? Ah well. I've had fun playing The Isle, I've tried several dinos but I managed to finally keep a dryo alive to an adult. It's rather hard in my opinion to play as a carnivore though. I've spent hours walking across maps and literally never seen or even heard an AI to track down for food, that's my main food source when other players are dangerous to attack lol. I love the game, Dondi and the other devs are geniuses, but I would like one major change- since herbivores can sniff out any nearby food source, carnivores should be able to as well. I don't mean other players because that would be entirely unfair, but carnivores should at least be able to sniff out the presence of AIs, don't you think? Have them show up just as bushes do to herbivores, that wouldn't unfairly impact the gameplay for people on the map. Just a thought, maybe a dev will see this and take it to heart.
