As a deino main who knows how to fight, I go into the shallows just to bait whole herds of carnos into attempting to get me. They either try for a very long time and realize they're getting nowhere or I kill/almost kill multiple of them and they give up. I'm no longer scared of carnos, they can't touch me lol

Everytime I see him go near the water I have a panic attack, I’ve been killed by pretty much everything in Evrima except Dryosaurus, Stego, and Hypsi as a baby Carno. :(

To be fair it's a bit harder to do so for them currently. You only have the rivers which are small and a heavy amount of your action and food is waiting at certain parts. So the crocs tend to merge in the same spots. There is also a lot more cannibalism with them than other carnivores from what I've seen so it's a coin toss on whether you are safe in the mob of them or you get ate by a bigger one. They're not like rexes where you can cry packing because they can just walk across the map. Deinos are a bunch of fat asses condemned to sit in one spot and wait for food lmao
