Beipi has become my favorite very fast, the fact that when you dolphin dive again and again you lose no stam is amazing. You can travel for such long distances doing that! That’s how I got from southeast to northwest with barely any breaks, just press spacebar everywhere you go XD

yeah, it's even much better, 'cause if you dive you lose stam as adult. that confused me quite a bit at the beginning to be honest. but, like you said, you travel across the map in no time. I mean, you need the same amount of time, but, it doesn't feel like this. 'cause it's fun all way long

Not only it does not drain stamina, doing high dolphin jumps seem to help regain stamina. One of my travels i started with 40% stamina and without stops and at one point i noticed i had 80% stamina, almost full comparing of what i had started my travel with.

awe thx ♥ wasn't it awful when it got released? I played about 5 hours and stopped for more than a year. it was so broken :/ when I returned at update 3 it was quite okish, but, like you said, the game has made quite some progess since and it's really nice meanwhile. the best part tho, there are still plenty of things to come the bad part, it will still take plenty of time ^^

@@da.mombie it was definitely a hot buggy mess lol. But I was fascinated with the graphics, dinosaur animations and the rudimentary new combat system so I played quite a bit. I was a part of the huge teno-omni wars, when tenos used to stand in the shallow swamp area for safety and advantage. I actually quit playing after pachy was added because my game-capable computer broke down, unfortunately MacBook becomes a furnace on Evrima. It’s too bad, Evrima has really come into itself and the new playables look so fun - I get my fix watching KZbinrs like you :P But yes, I’m so excited to see the game develop more. I’ve waited this long, what’s four or five (or ten) more years? Honestly, I can have fun on the isle regardless of where it is developmentally (hence playing early Evrima for so long haha) even though I’m hopeful for more, faster updates.

@@emilyrose7231 respect, I was mad to be honest. one year of silence and then this. I didn't like that at all. I couldn't even enjoy teh animations, 'cause half of my utah/teno was beneath the ground/map while running. jeez, I was so mad back then. but, it wa smy own fault. my expectations were just too high. I am also a baker of star citizen. so, I am also the guy who doesn't care about more years of development. as long as there is some and it goes in teh right direction. the isle does do that. it gets better and better with every update. of course with new bugs, but, that's part of the development. so, I don't mind. like you said, it's already fun to play and when I think of what is still to come, then I am even more excited. even tho, we all would like to speed it up a little. but, it is what it is. they are a small team and no wizards. I hope you can play it soon again and to see you on the isle someday ♥

@@da.mombie that’s totally understandable and reasonable to have been angry! I was busy with other things around that time so I didn’t spend a lot of time reading updates or promises from the devs nor did I know what the timeline was, so when it came out it was like a surprise to me. I would have been very disappointed too if I had waited for so long and been led to have high expectations only for the release to be two buggy dinosaurs on a flat map full of grass lol. Like the difference between being told you’re getting a new iPhone and getting a first generation iPod vs being surprised with the iPod out of nowhere. Still better than nothing in the latter case I think haha I hope to play with you someday once I’m able to play again! I enjoy watching most of The Isle content but your play style seems to fit mine the best, I appreciate how kind and benevolent you are in the game even when you don’t have to be while still enjoying the thrill of combat. It’s a good balance, I always feel sad when I see other players killing babies or for sport, but I guess we all have our own reasons for playing.

One thing unique about the Beibi is that it can latch at the bottom and sniff. Once you see the bubble icon you will get a crap. It's a fifty fifty change of getting one, but the devs upgraded that. I think at least. Also they remind so much of penguins from the breaching and fishing mechanic of it all. It's a penguin dino!!

The baby beipi sounds are SO CUTE 😭 the begging sounds like a little baby songbird. I love that you can swim fully immediately after hatching, beipi will be such a fun hatchling to play. Swamp is such a playground for beipi, its going to be nice to have life in areas of the map that felt so dead before. Like that stone bridge you were jumping around on, I never saw anything there but its so perfect for Beipi! I was never able to get into a server, I'll probably just wait till things calm down a bit, but your videos will hold me over. Love seeing the first croc chase! The beipi vs croc dynamic will really liven up the waters

I hope that in the future the devs will vary in the creation of nests, depending on the dino you are, in theory the beipi would make nests similar to those of swans and other aquatic birds, I would like the sauropods to bury their eggs and then other classes of nests that are not always or mound of earth or mound of sticks

I think those things will come later on. hypsis nest was meant to hang in trees once. as far as I know they are still going to make it able to put it in trees at some point. so, I guess there will come even more different types of nests. dryo will get a burrow at some point and I hope we can nest in them

@@da.mombie Don't worry, the hypsi will be able to, when they add the climbing mechanic with the arrival of the herrera in the next update, I think that for the next update after 7 (maybe there will be a 7.5) they will add their climbing to the hypsi, which If I remember correctly, they said that I was going to climb and move through the trees like a squirrel.

@da.mombie I tried it when it first came to be at its first release. But it had a lot of bugs and lag issues. So I flipped back to the original. To be honest not sure of the time in Evrima. But I really would like to get it another go for sure. I've stayed pretty loyal to The Isle. It's my go-to game.

I played almost 1k in legacy and was so hyped for evrima. then it was released and it was sooooo bad. only utah and teno and both were running half in the ground. every animation broken, it was such a mess. I stopped playing the isle for more than a year. I returned with update 3 and started to do my vids. I missed so many things at the start. not even nesting were in the game. my beloved burrow (I still miss that), my beloved dinos (anky, theri, sucho, dilo and many more) and even the sprint mechanics. meanwhile tho, evrima is already much better than legacy ever was. in almost every way. legacy has more dinos, yes, but, the 13 evrima dinos feel more different to play than all legacy dinos combined. the fights are also much better. no more tailriding, no more running through the other dino and no more getting stuck on tiny logs on the ground XD don't get me wrong, I loved legacy, but, evrima is another level. it takes some time to get used to it when you come from legacy, but, I am quite sure you will love it pretty soon and don't want to go back either ♥

The pings were okay and at least the fps is increased in your case it was a good stabile one. I still have fps issues but much better than the often 15-20 fps. Beipi is a fun dino and enjoyable, it is weak compared to other dinos but it can grow fast so after Hypsi and Dryio (I believe the growth is faster as Beipi) makes it a low risk animal to pick. I plays now some ceras on unofficial servers but I often die as a youngster because Cera as a juvie is slow as hell. Also I have no luck with good diet because the amount of food is scarce and the other larger Ceras bullying. Even a Galli can kick out of eternity a baby and sub juvie Cera. The official servers seem not stabile enough and often just see fewer full ones so I rarely can play the game. The favourite function for servers is still broken because not saving those servers what I add to the list so often need to refind all. I still need to try Galli and play more than 10 min as troodon.

I wasn't excited about it, but, after I played it, I love it. so cute and so fun to play. even pretty viable. yeah, beipi is great, I don't care if a dino is weak. I don't need a strong dino to have fun I can't even say, didn't play since saturday. but, friday and saturday were very busy at the officials. took some time to get on them :/

Just yesterday I played beipi for the first time, and after 5 times being eaten, I got an egg :D Tbh I was disappointed, I thought beipi would have a nest like a duck :( Lived happily like a lil jumping dolphin, till my game crashed, with this update it seems to be popular to just get a fatal error. Do you know by any chance what setting influences the skins? I'd love to have the skins more detailed, but didn't find out with which setting it's done :(

yeah, they just switched to unreal engine 5. honestly, I expected many bugs and crashes. it will take some weeks till they'll fix all the new troubles which come along with the engine change :/ I don't like that type of nest in general. I love to sit in my nest. but, beipi is more safe in the water anyway, so, probably even better so? dunno. sry mate, I'm no expert in settings. could be the textures. can't say for sure tho :(

@@gamejane5193 I hate this nest type specially for deino and carno. it is the nest you have to spend BY FAR the most time on building and even worse, keeping it warm. the two dinos which need the most food have the nest where you have to spend almost all your time with. that's weird in my opinion.

I do like the nest by looks but the nest itself, how it's made, is stupid, yea. For deino it would be better to just use alot "mud", and bury the eggs in it.

@@gamejane5193 the problem is, my carno starves until the eggs are even ready. you really need a mate to hunt while you take care about the nest. but, this mate must come back with a teno at least, 'cause an omni or pachy is no food at all. even more for two adult carnos. same for deino. your mate has to kill a stego while you take care about nest

Finally got to play the new update myself. Bipi is fun and all, but NV underwater is complete BS. Cannot see anything. Especially when there is no moon.

yeah, the NV only works if there objects on the ground. but, most rivers are empty and therefore it is pretty useless :/
