tbh, I underestimated the horrifying part. I don't and will never see the isle as a horror game. but, I have to admit, the atmosphere at night with the many sounds around is creepy. I like that a lot :)

I'm worried about excatly that problem. how do you want to balance a bullet which should do damage to a rex without killing smaller like utah by oneshot. I can't think of any solution and don't want to be oneshot by bushcamper whenever I play a smaller dino. I really hope they will come up with something I couldn't think of :)

yeah, I was wondering about that, too. if we have 53 playable dinos, then we won't even have two of each kind within 100 players. will be tough to find a player to pair and have kids with. I would love a server with 500 players, but, in reality this will never happen. maybe 200 someday. on private maybe 300? on the other hand I love to have such a choice of dinos. I love to be able to play as so many different ones. so, yeah, it doesn't make much sense for 100 players only, but, I still appreciate it. kind of weird, isn't it XD

I share your thought. if you can loot each other, then many humans probably will KOS to gear up more fast. or raid each other as soon as you can "build" bases. the question tho, how will they implement them? like secure your base on the long run? or a complete wipe with every restart. will it be worse to raid if you lose everything every 6 hours? tough to say. but, humans will probably be even more "cannibals" than deinos XD

I wasn't a huge fan of humans. but, I have to admit, that they are more fun than I thought. so, I may change my mind about them. we will see tho, I'm still in worry how they will balance guns with dinos. @@mojorohring5176 humans are only on private servers at the moment. you can switch to private servers at the right side of the server list screen. but, they aren't activated at every private server. so, search for a one with humans in the titel. sadly there aren't that much.

humans? they are only available at private server at the moment. first you have to change from official to unofficial servers on the right side of the screen where you select the server. then you have to find a server with humans. they are mostly announced in the server name. sadly there aren't much. or weren't much, I didn't try since this video.

I am not sure about traps. I don't like anything where you don't have a chance to fight back or run away. I don't want to run with my dino through the forest and suddenly be dead 'cause of a trap. if a trap, then something like a catch trap. where you still have a chance to get out before you die.

@@da.mombie not instant kill traps, just noise and maybe temporary stun or slow. Otherwise humans are pointless. I wouldnt like firearms, for example, but bows and xbows feels nice

I'm still worried about how they will balance them. but, there will be tribal people with bows, too. depending on how the game will develop (players), there should be server without humans, with humans, with tribal humans only and so on. therefore I'm quite relaxed about humans. 'cause if I like them, then I will play them. if not, then I will play on "dinos only" server.

I can't say I'm supportive of humans in the Isle, they just seem out of place and for a different game ... but they are fun to play around with at times 😆 I think the q button should pull up a physical compass for humans, like how your flashlight comes up with f. It was so weird playing and not being able to make any noise! Whats the building at 6:00? I don't recognize it :0

same here, I was never excited about humans and if they wouldn't have come into the game, then I wouldn't have cared either. but, to be fair, the game was supposed to have humans from the first day on. they even were in Legacy for a very short time. also, many people want them, so, I get why they implement them. humans will be switchable. right now they are only on private server. but, if they come to the official servers, then there will be private servers without humans as well. so, even if they mess up the balancing of guns, we will still be able to play without humans on private servers at least. that's the most important to me. I probably don't want to vs humans with my dino, but, I think it could be fun to play as human vs dino every now and then. it is a small building southeast of the swamp wall. in the forest which is close to the southern edge of the map. sry, I don't have the excat coordinates of it. but, it should be somewhere around LAT -20 LONG -120

When they add the first gun it will be interesting... pistol vs almost any dino could be made to be tough, if they make only brain shots one shot kill for example. Pistol will not help you that much, but if there are multiple humans then it could be dangerous... we will see in time.

I'm scared of guns. I can't see a way to balance them. as example, give them a handgun with 9mm bullets. you won't be able to fight any bigger than utah. carno, allo, sucho and probably 30 more dinos will be almost impossible to fight. even more the likes of trike, rex, giga, deino and so on. the other way around, any bullet which is strong enough to hurt a rex or shant, will oneshot every small dino like dryo, herra, austro and probably even utah. I don't want to be oneshot by a bushcamper when I play small dinos. I may miss something, but, I can't see a solution. hopefully they will surprise me tho :)

Human vs Hypsi - hypsi is a lot faster it would be hard to hit it with a pistol. Also it will be hard to sneak up on 3rd person players. Human vs Omni, brain shot instant kill, but with unprecise weapon it would be hard to do a brain shot. Most of the bullets would hit the body causing bleed - so dead human in most cases. Human vs Teno, 2 brain shots for kill, can absorb a lot od damage against a pistol. Something like that.. obviously rifles would do more damage... but i think if ammo is scarce and dinos are a bit more cautious it could be fun. My guess is humans will be easy to kill, so they will be a glass cannon... ok you kill one dino, but now everyone knows where you are - you are dead already if you are not in a tough to reach spot.

I know so many spots at the map where dinos ALWAYS pass by. if you sit in a bush and wait for a dino to come, it won't see or hear you and will be dead before it even knows what happened (if you have the aim skills). less ammo also doesn't work in my opinion. I know this from games like dayz which has very less ammo. normal people like me need a long time to get enough ammo for the right guns. but, more skilled players just kill players like me and are fully stacked within 20 minutes in the game. they also can't make humans weak, 'cause nobody would play them then. if you don't have a chance to kill dinos, then most people won't play them. don't get me wrong. there may be a solution I can't think of. I don't have a super brain. but, I have a lot of experience with many other games and guns are very tough to balance. guns vs rex only could be already tough to balance, but, guns vs dinos in a range from hypsi to rex are incredibly hard to balance imo.

Dayz ftw So ok, you wait in a bush with your pistol camping, but once you fire you are pretty much f, all the dinos in 1-2 km circle now know where you are. Pistol vs Hypsi - hypsi will die but human is also in severe danger now Pistol vs 1 omni - fair fight Pistol vs 2 omni - omni win Pistol vs carno - carno wins most likely What good is it to you to camp one spot as a human - if you will surely die. Sniper rifle vs T-rex - trex should be a bit harder to kill, but once again, once you shoot ALL the dinos now know your presence. So again you will die soon. My guess is human gameplay will be closely tied to the human structures, acting like the only safe space for humans. I don't think humans will be running around and camping the middle of the map, that is a death sentence for them. (yes sure they might kill one or two dinos, who cares, it will be your own fault if you die to a human). If they make the gun shoots cause more bleed then damage and not put overkill weapons in the game, I guess it could be somewhat balanced.

@@kichmadev but here is my problem. if there is a sniper rifle, then you will be able to oneshot every dino at and below the size of an omniraptor. even on distance. I am really scared of getting sniped without having a chance to react. but, if you give them handguns only, then you will never be able to take down a rex. not even 10 humans with 9mm should do much damage to a rex. but, every rifle is deadly to all the small dinos. it will also depend on how easy you can spot a human with a dino. if I sit in a bush and kill a dryo on 100 meter, then I will be very tough to spot for all others who are coming. I mean, I know what you mean and yeah, most "normal" people will stay close to the buildings. but, many crazy, tough or hardcore players (you name them) will go out there to camp and snipe. even if they die. humans don't grow, so, it will also depend on what they will have to lose. but, I am scared of ending as a oneshot (with smaller dinos) without having the chance of a battle first. so, I really hope they will manage it somehow. I still have doubts tho.

I dont play on any EU servers cuz its high ping for me. The higher the ping, the more lag. Btw, I love watching your vids to start my day off with a cup of coffee. Keep up the great vids! :)

Честно, лучше без людей, а тем более без этих кринжепостроек в момент жизни динозавров, честно это кринж. Разрабы очень большое внимание уделяют ненужным постройкам, меньше думают о оптимизации (вернее не думают), а тем более о геймплее. Честно, ощущение, будто повториться старый "The Isle", конечно, я хочу в этом ошибаться. Когда только вышла бета "Evrima", думал, что игра взлетит в плане геймплея и онлайна (я не спорю, что офф сервера фулл после обновлений, и только после обновлений, хочу заметить, но спустя пару дней они снова полупустые), но разрабы взялись за старое. Создают ненужные постройки (человеческие), чем уделять больше времени создания динозавров или маппинга. Что они сделали с тенями, это просто ужас, смотреть на эту картинку невозможно, под листвой нет просвета, сверху она зелёная, снизу чёрная, просто выколи глаз, а трава вообще молчу. Она смотрелась идеальной, когда вышли первые её версии, а то что сейчас, сорян это, пока что какой-то крах. Очень хочется, чтобы игру сделали достойной, я считаю её в общем прекрасной по своей задумке, но то что сейчас, я описал выше....

Я понимаю ваше разочарование. но, честно говоря, люди были в плане с самого начала. Лично мне они тоже особо не нужны. Но есть много тех, кто купил игру из-за людей. Мне тоже не нравится текущий свет, но я надеюсь на новую карту в этом отношении. нам еще нужно много терпения. они небольшая команда и имеют свой собственный путь. в целом, однако, я вижу прогресс. есть большая разница между обновлением 1 и 6. все стало намного лучше. однако многого еще не хватает. это определенно займет еще 2-3 года, пока мы не получим наполовину законченную игру. но я думаю, что в итоге он оправдает наши ожидания. по крайней мере большинство из них. нам еще нужно много терпения. даже если это иногда раздражает. Надеюсь, после автоматического перевода текст читается.

Not going to lie I'm not that happy with the addition of humans. To make human viable you're going to have to have like a crafting system or something since in reality humans are fairly useless without hand built weapons. the aisle is infamous for being very slow with their updates it's going to have to be like Minecraft in the isle for humans to be viable.

I never was a fan of humans in this game. to me it's a dino game, no survival horror game. humans will get guns at some point and I am worried about that. to balance guns in this game will be almost impossible without making small dinos oneshot. I don't want to be sniped out of nowhere with my dino. that said, humans were on the agenda from day one. many people bought the game because of them. so, they have to implement them. I get it. I also don't care too much about, 'cause at the end we will be able to choose. there will be server without humans as well. so, if I play dino, then I will mostly play on server without humans. still, I have the possibility to also play as human vs dinos (which could be fun) every now and then. in terms of the development, yeah, it will take a looong time till humans will get enough things (crafting, buildings, guns) to be fun to play. I guess, that's why they are only on private server by now. I would be surprised if they will make it to the official servers in 2023.
