It's pronounced (eyes lee) brothers. They are legendary. They have been making hits since the late 50's. Ronald Isley does have one of the most distinctive and beautiful voices in music history. They have a lot of music. Check out their discography. They are still active today. Check out their 1st record Twist and Shout. The Beatles covered it.

My man, you got a sub. The Isley Brothers are my favorite group of all time. They are incredibly creative, they were ahead of their time in many instances, and their songs don't sound the same. You have to listen to their discography from the 50's to now to fully appreciate their greatness. Even people who are fans of some of their more well known stuff don't realize how far back they go. Start with "shout," "its your thing," "testify" "fight the power" "caravan of love" (wasn't really isley brothers because Ronald left, but still an amazing song) and the hugely popular outside the mainstream but underrated by critics "choosey lover." They had a lot of GREAT songs in between as I'm sure people here will recommend. There really is no such thing as a bad isley brothers song.

The Isley brothers were one of my many favorites growing up..they don't sing them like this anymore..love my classic R&B music..the best music ever..they were so many talented singers back in the day..that was real singing..real talent..not like today..they have so many hits...listen & react to other R&B music like:..Earth,Wind & fire....The Manhattans..The Whispers..Al Green..Teddy Pendergrass..The Temptations..etc .there's a lot of great music..open your mind to other music..R&B..Country..Pop..Rock..Mexican..etc..so much good music out there☺💜🎶🎤

Ronald Isley and the Isley Brothers are one of the few R&B groups from back in the day who are still singing and performing. One of my favorite Isley's is Harvest for the World and Summer Breeze.

it's pronounce, Eye-slee brothers!!! a class act during that time. They were a Motown group where most of their successful songs were produced. Early songs of theirs were under labels, WAND, T-NECK, WARNER RECORDS, DEF SOUL......

The Isley Bros. were not a Motown group, but they did record a song for Motown in 1966 and it is a stoned cold classic. Check out ":This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You). IMHO it is one of the greatest songs of all time.
