Lamar Pfleger First of all iuic doesn't teach the name doctrine so they don't hate the name jesus. Even so the messiah's name is not Jesus because there is no J in the Hebrew And the first covenant is not obsolete yet. Read Hebrews 8 and Jeremiah 31. When the New Covenant is implemented the laws will be programmed into us so that we keep them perfectly and no man will ever teach his neighbor again. None of this has happened yet so no we are not under the New Covenant. Christ dying on the cross did not usher in the New Covenant like you Christians imply

They have no problem with the name Jesus. Wrong group. Secondly the Messiah wore fringes (borders, Hem) and so they follow his example.
