I used to like it, at least until I felt the humour had got into a rut of Roy and Moss just getting themselves into embarrassing situations every week and the pure absurdist humour was minor. The Russian novel allusions in this one are particularly good. Father Ted still stands out as Linehans better work.

Armin Meiwes is a German former computer repair technician who received international attention for murdering and eating a voluntary victim in 2001, ... LInehan wasn't so much having a pop at Germans in general, but satirizing the news story of a real life German computer geek, who had a penchant for eating human flesh. As for the pastiche on Russian literature, this tableau wasn't an oblique critique of Russians, but rather an accurate observation of the ridiculously absurd and arduous lengths dedicated smokers will put put themselves through to enjoy a crafty fag, while at work - such as standing in the snow without a coat on. That's just my 2 cents.
