Did you find vfr arrival and traffic pattern entry hard at LIRU ? I've been flying there 5 days ago on m600 . And it was not so easy to get out of there and cross the alps on the way back because they haven't been giving the ifr clearance for a long time after departure )

hi love your videos can i ask do you have to add anti ice fluid to the fuel on m500/600 and tbm 940
@johnpage83643 жыл бұрын
Yes, we do add anti ice fluid. Depends on time of year and not on every time we fuel, some fuel trucks are already pre mixed.

Dear John, Thank you for a very interesting video. Would you be kind enough to share the journey planning aspect and the reason for refueling in Nice? I am keen to learn given the M500 1000nm range with 45 min reserve and qty 2 POB this trip. Was the reason your preference for greater reserve, winds, something else or have I misinterpreted the potential max range? Thank you. Regards, Steven.

Hi Steven, thanks for the comment. We had 3 POB departed out of a short airfield (800m) on a hot day. So pushing it to the limit as we had plenty of time wasn’t required, also it was partly a training flight so visiting Cannes was a good way to see somewhere new. Yes the aircraft will do Rome non stop. Regards John.

Cutting away from the landing in Cannes to yourself talking on the tarmac? What the heck was that

Thanks for the rude reply. Sometime as an instructor you can’t video while holding the camera and making sure your student is not going to have issues while land. So what the heck!! Is a safety point.
