@@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY don't forget that joe did this to make sure his children would't suffer the way the whole black community did during that period. With this being only 2 years after the death of martin luther king this was not only a chance for joe and his family to get out of an almost hopeless life, this was a statement for the whole black community and the only way to make sure joe's children would't get beaten down by the american system.

@@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY i know what you mean but that is exacly how the system would have treated them. Joe didn't show mercy but that is how the system worked. Joe never showed love but that is how the system worked. Joe never paused but that was how the system worked. But joe got the jacksons into a position the system would never allow them to get in to because of the way he raised his childen. He did what was necessary for a black family to get to the top of the system only to give michael the oppertunity to break the barrier between "black" music and "white" music.

He didn't deserve to be called wacko jacko...this kid worked since he was 5, he deserved more respect than what's been done to him. He was cute with his nose like a little button, and he was cute with all the other noses he put on. He was a beautiful black man, and he was beautiful with vitiligo too. He could have been mauve, yellow, blue or rainbow colored, talent poured out of him like water through a sift. He's a jungle of notes, an ancient spirit, and light must be scary to some cuz it makes you look at yourself, so we always foolishly hurt the best ones that bring about great change. Peace and love. I am an obsessed and loving fan of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. Watching this clip makes me happy but also sad. This beautiful, gifted and special boy, who looked so happy here, ended his life feeling alone and maligned. I've spent the last few weeks on a Michael Jackson binge. What I noticed this time around is how happy he was when he was younger and performing with his brothers. Slowly, he became more shy and introverted, although his talent just grew and grew. He was a once in a lifetime star who made the world a better place. I honestly don't think there will be any other talent like Michael Jackson. He had it all.
