Honestly surprised by the positive feedback this episode has been getting. Thought that people won't care to watch since many don't know who Pascal is but it's been surprisingly good..

@@thejadmbarakshow Curiosity is the key. This job is like a mystery, and widely shadowed in the game, as no one talks abt. I am sûre this is the first podcast ever done with an agent. I doubt somebody has ever seen a photo for Pascal. Btw, I was glued from start to end, maybe more than Wael and Sergio’s épisodes, the amount of info in this one is very valuable..

oh my GOD. very heavy weight episode. an episode from another planet if not from another universe, the known universe of basketball. too much information, priceless and valuable. far beyond entertaining. this is the pure beauty of culture. great job. keep driving us to another perspective, another level of knowledge. this will affect deeply the future of sports in general, and of basketball precisely in our country and other countries as well. thank you Jad.

that was a great episode a lot of knowledge that i heard for the first time keep on the great work. there was only one question I wish you asked him about ; "Mike Efibrah" mentioned that he was not allowed to get back to lebanon because he was banded, and efibrah had spoke about pascale badly before through social media whats the issue and why he raised case against him so he got banded ?!!! efibrah mentioned that his new agent the on who had helped him to solve the issue so he can play again in FLB ...

Great Episode!. Jad, if it is possible, I would like to see an episode in the future that compares the NCAA or NBA training routine with the Lebanese Basketball League training for the players. Maybe you can showcase the way they get trained overseas and how coaches in Lebanon can implement NCAA or NBA physical training tactics efficiently and effectively. Why don't we have many great shooters as they have overseas? what do they do differently to shoot better than local people in Lebanon? The same thing applies when it comes to dunking the ball, besides the height difference between Lebanese players and other league players, I see players have the same height as the Lebanese players but they dunk much better. Roach, a Sagesse player, is a great example, his height is similar to a Lebanese player's height but he dunks great. What he does do differently to make him a great dunker, or able to jump high? I think this will be a great episode to impact the next generation of basketball players. Great content! Keep it up!
@thejadmbarakshow Жыл бұрын
Great idea Sam 💯 For Roach and most Americans, genetically they're different. Of course the training/science/everything else plays a part too

I would love to know your take on University sports in general in Lebanon, why don't we treat it like the NCAA as a stepping stone for players to make it to the league? Is it because the clubs and their academies have better competitions and coaches at that level?
@thejadmbarakshow Жыл бұрын
Many, many factors. Mainly the lack of proper management for the uni leagues. No funding so players would rather play in 1st division and get money (salaries) instead of committing to a university just to get a scholarship (many unis don't offer scholarships even).
