Yes and I am so pissed that a fucking amazing singer and performer like our late Daniel Macmasters was muted into a reverb background singer so thay Jason could showcase himself. What a waste of perfect talent. In another band, with full voice and no reverb, he would have been on top. RIP Daniel❤

I miss the 80’s so badly, and I wish I could go back for a month. If I could, I would spend extra time with my loved ones who have passed away, and hang out with all of my friends again!! I would have my Camaro back and be cruising the streets with this kind of music cranked up loud ❤❤❤

It’s so weird reading “Danny”... not knowing him myself... I just think of him as Daniel.., I know it’s a nickname of Daniel, just feels odd reading it about him. He looked completely different... I’ve seen him with his hair up and pushed away from his face, it’s almost an odd picture the one with the short hair and hat. I heard he was happy to finally cut his hair off... Sadly... hair or not, he’s missed.

Great song, and yes a good band. But ya got to admit, they sure played out the Zep thing. Naming the band Bonham. Him wearing a Swan Song shirt. They should of tried it with out any ties to Zep and see how far would they have gotten...
@michaelcorcoran87682 жыл бұрын
I mean they got all sorts of attention when this band launched. There was literally a quasi documentary on MTV News that had every member of led Zeppelin playing with and praising Bonham. I think he got chances that almost no other drummer would ever get.

The harmonica player on When The Levy Breaks was the best ever in the 55 years I have been here on this earth. What is his name? Jason, Bonham keep rocking as your on the right path and I must say your band is top notch. Great job stepping up to play with the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar and being part of the Circle. Awesome, Your dad is definitely smiling and is no doubt smiling from the other side.

I have this on cassette and CD. Had forgotten all about them until I ran across the cassette while cleaning. Loved this album back in the day. The music still sounds great. Love this dated video: Steel? Check. Steam? Check. Floodlights? Check. Long hair? Check. High-waisted, tight jeans? Check. Random platforms to place the musicians at varying levels? Check. Sparks and flames? Check. You got yourself a late 80s/early 90s video.

I saw these guys in a small bar in Ontario back in the 1980's. They were on tour supporting The Cult or Blue Oyster Cult..not sure but doing small bar dates in between the big shows. They were definitely paying their dues and were not a "manufactured" band. They could all play and sing live very well. I think they just got lost between the cracks back in the day because there were so many "hair" bands and that is how you had to present yourself in the day. Looking and especially listening back now without the marketing hype the real cream rises to the top. I would put these guys up there with Def Leppard, If they had gotten some more attention and were able to do a few more albums who knows what other great songs they would have come up with. Not sure why they split up? Anyone know? The singer was from Barrie, Ontario and passed away a few years ago is all I know. I did look into the other 2 musicians and I think they were busy with other projects over the years. Of course we know what Jason is up to these days with The Circle and The Led Zeppelin Experience. I got to meet him once and should have asked him about Dan MacMaster. Would have been interesting to hear what he had to say about this band. Also Virginia Woolf.
@Boethius41110 ай бұрын
They toured with the Cult and there was another group from Memphis on the bill called Tora Tora when I saw them. That was a fantastic sounding concert all the way through.
@jamesbond463310 ай бұрын
@@Boethius411 Awesome!! I wish I would have saw them on a big stage in an arena. Just saw them in a bar on a small stage. It was Jason Bonham's birthday that day and they had cake for him in a private room away from the main bar. I stood beside him at the washroom urinal but didn't say anything to him. No Moby Dick jokes!!! Only weird thing I saw during the concert was Dan the lead singer looked like his was going back beside the drums occasionally snorting some coke I think. He had such a good voice. All talented musicians.
