You don’t have to take the seat out to get to the battery. Move the seat all the way to the rear and pull the batter out.

You can’t start a vehicle in Drive, unless it’s a manual. Either your ECU or TCM is having issues, or a fuse. Try disconnecting the battery completely, then drain any charge left in the vehicle, reconnect the battery and boost pack, charge the battery for a bit, then check the dash and see if the transmission is showing ok. If ok, then try to start it.

@@tenmacd2399 When the computer sees LOW VOLTAGE it shuts everything down. The battery has failed and needs replacement. Happens often in frigid cold temps. The transmission will not function properly with low voltage.

That’s why disconnecting the battery and “resetting” the computer can clear up those errors… usually. I’ve had cars with TCM failures, they still start, just in limp mode.

I bet that transmission warning came on before you brought it home and parked it last time you parked it a few days ago and you didn't notice it or whatever when you turned it off ! I can only assume it's an electrical issue. Nothing mechanical. But you sound like you have a parasitic drain on your electrical system ! Hate your battery location?
