The Jelly Bean Farmer was so g-dang perfect, the last episode was so heavy and so moving and powerful and they were introduced so perfectly into the situation to remind the viewers (and the players) that this is all taking place in a ridiculous candy world, incredible work

@@SchizoMuch I would agree that it is improv for everyone except Brennan. His worlds are just WAY too full for him to make it all up as he went. Like, truly, yes, he's responding to what they do ad that's why half ofthe built sets for Crown of Candy were unused as well as the minis of most of the replacement character. This right here was the first scene after they ret-conned the ending of the previous chapter, at the very least he spends some time thinking "how am I gonna start the session?"

@@Eadwulf_Skald Oh, umm... MAJOR SPOILERS if you haven't seen it. They said it later, in the behind the scenes. Sacarina's introduction originally happened at the end of the escaping from candia episode, recorded and all, but then they all decided it didn't really sit right to introduce Emily again after so soon after what hapoened to Jet, so that's why that ep ends with a beautiful ilustration of Amethar holding Jet in a boat and only Brennan speaks in narration, it is a correction to let the moment really sink in (replaving the original ending where Sacarina meets them on the boats). Which means Breannan had plenty of time to decide how he wanted to do the funeral and also why when Emily re-entered the game it didn't come as that big of a surprise to the group as when Zac did, they already knew the character she was playing. Anyway, haha, it's just part of why I wouñdn't say the setting of this particular scene is improvised, it was planned.

Crown of Candy is an amazing series it is not for the faint of heart. It has really funny moments in it and one of my favourite battles of all time. Multiple really creative battles. It also has episodes where I full on wept. I recommend it but don’t be afraid to watch part of it and then come back to it later.

it's been 2 years since I discovered Dimension 20. 2 years of me not buying Dropout. 2 years of me watching clips, rewatching and rewatching every single free episodes and loving every single Brennan world facts, Lou amazing improv, Ally's poetic nat 20, Siobhan great speeches, Zac goofy but lovable characters, Emily's amazing role play and quotes, and of course Brian Murphy rolling bad every single time.

I'm 3 episodes from the end of this campaign and Brennan's little subtle running habit of just letting a REALLY sad tense dramatic and charged scene play out for a full minute or three... and then very casually dropping in a swift and brutal reminder that, oh yeah, and everyone here is a bunch of candy people in a world of food. Maybe because it's a comedy show and he occasionally goes "ooh this is WAY too dark time to lighten it up with a supremely goofy visual."
