The Avs vice president Declan Bolger was asked this May about bringing back the Nordiques jersey and mentioned how there was preliminary talks in doing so for the 25th anniversary. He mentioned Carolina using the Whalers jersey and how cool that was. Kadri jumped on and supported the idea.

That lighter color from the first season matched Roy’s Montreal pads so well that he didn’t even swap them out after the trade. I also kind of liked the look with the dark helmets at home in their first game.

The Nordiques jerseys looked great. I was happy back in 2020 when the Reverse Retro were of the style of the Nordiques. The Yeti logo needs to comeback.

Three things: One, that black jersey at :55 is actually pretty awesome, I'd like one. Two, the burgundy 3rd with the Colorado wordmark is a very underappreciated jersey, but it's one of my favorites. Three, I still haven't fully accepted the loss of the bigfoot shoulder logo, it just complements the jersey so much better than the "C". I understand why they did it, but I want the old one back. Just IMO.

Being at the 2020 stadium series and seeing the jerseys in person on the ice and people wearing them in the stands I have to admit they’re pretty solid jerseys. Wasn’t a fan at first but they definitely grew on me that night!

The early authentics by Starter were awesome; they had this sheen to them that set them apart from the CCM jerseys. Loved that the numbers were a unique style too.

I can't speak for all of us Avs fans, but I loved how they basically went back to the original design when the Adidas switch was made. That design is classic, and reminds us of the days of Sakic, Forsberg, Roy, Foote and more, as in the Cups. The Reeboks were just odd to me. The original burgundy 3rd was great, but the current one is here to stay. I really hope we don't change it up, apart from doing a Nordiques throwback. The current design and third are great. Go Avs!

The part with the second stadium jersey is the burgundy is a different shade from the inner A to the bottom. I think it makes it look like a skirt.

I am the happy owner of one of the 1995-96 Green/Blue and White Nordiques prototype jerseys. Personally thought they were okay as far as a branding change but the color scheme seemed off. The NHL already had the Whalers (who wore similar colors at the time) and the Vancouver Canucks (who would go back to their original colors a few years later). Not a bad looking jersey but I wish they didnt get rid of the Nordiques igloo.

Yes! I knew the Avs burgundy was lighter at one time but I could never find any official confirmation on jersey databases or anything. Anyway, I had one of those. A Starter Roy jersey. I ended up giving it away.

Fun fact that I'm not sure is super well spread the "Colorado Rockies" style 3rd jersey is our division rivalry jersey so thats only worn for home games against central division teams.

My biggest problem with the current away is that the only blue on the away is the socks and the collar if the jersey just makes it look plain. I wish there was a blue stripe along the gray. Really would just look so much better

Those Vintage line reproductions of the original Starter jerseys are so far off it’s crazy. The inaugural (and I think for a couple seasons after?) jerseys were made out of a shimmering material that looked all kinds of rad. Best jersey of the franchise.

Colorado Avalanche had a decent look after accepting the move from Quebec. Best logo is the current one with the A. The fashion ones look sharp and could use the blue as a road and black as home. The latest stadium series jersey looks more like something that be worn in another Star Trek or some kind of space show or movie. Not a hockey jersey.

I was an early hater on the latest Stadium Jersey. I have warmed to it. My big complaint is exactly what you said, the A comes up way too high. I would be devastated if they bounced the Rockies 3rd.

Whatever jersey the Avs wear, there forever needs to be the Yeti foot on the shoulder or the Avs original logo on the shoulder. The Colorado flag 'C' is too bland for me. I wish they'd update the original jersey a bit and stick with the Yeti foot.

Those Bib jerseys by far the worst in Avs collection. Something as simple as not making the White A go all the way to the collar could make me drastically change my point of view on it but alas it does go to the collar and i'll never like it due to that. On a good note though Avs released a press release about a month ago saying that because 2021 season is 25th anniversary they're going to bring back the nordiques throwback jersey for a few games, since Hurricanes did it with Whalers jersey this year and were successful with it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that, in my opinion, the 2020 Stadium Series jersey was the worst abortion of any sports jersey ever. It is truly puke-worthy.

It's a pity that I can't post a photo here because the only authentic sweater I have is the all-burgundy third, which I think is the best the Avalanche ever wore. The only thing I would change on it would be to remove the wordmark and put that "C" logo (currently on the dark blue thirds) on the all-burgundy background. I really do NOT like the current thirds because there is too much of that dark blue, but I love the logo. If they wore that jersey VERY rarely, then I could live with it, but they use it for every home game against division foes, which is too much. I always worry when the team strays away from burgundy because I fear they are setting us up for some awful color change. We Colorado fans got hit with really ugly all-blue uniforms on the Broncos starting in the late '90s. Over time, the pressure on the Broncos to go back to orange won out. Tradition over ugly. I just hope the Avs won't do the same to us. Burgundy is so unique in the league and definitely awesome on the jerseys. For me, the best Avalanche sweaters are: 1. The all-burgundy third (but, as I said, it would be nice to see it with the "C" logo). 2. The current away kit. I like the white with burgundy and only a hint of blue. 3. The current home regular kit. My only complaint is that they seem to have made the blue on the shoulders and arms wider than before. Less blue, please.

They have a good team, but their bottom 9 forwards are just ok, not great. Tampa bay, Toronto and Vegas off the top have better overall offense. Colorado’s dmen are young and there are some good players but Vegas woth Pietrangelo and Theodore is pretty awesome. I even think Columbus and Pittsburgh have a better second and third lines than Colorado
