I'm beginning to appreciate Belmar more now as I'm in my mid 30's. I go there often now, just to drive around and hang out, grab a bite to eat. In my early 20's, I spent a wild night there partying, haha...fun times.

That’s my home. Grew up very nearby, even sharing the Belmar zip code. Only a few stores remain that I remember from back when. We used to bank there, shop there, and go to church at St. Rose there. The oceanfront sure has changed over the decades, too. Took a whale watching cruise out of the marina a few summers ago, the last time I came back for a visit. Very nice. Highly recommend it.

The beaches are 10 times better in Florida and they are free.
