How.... how did you DO that? I've read (okay, listened) to quite a number of regency romance over the years and have gotten quite good at predicting the plot. I was so convinced that it was the one guy (trying not to spoil it 😉 ) that I was absolutely blindsided by the reality. Absolutely BLINDSIDED!! My poor pup was so worried as to why I was screeching at the recording. 😅 Also, I spent most of the latter part being suspicious of the three ladies. Like no way was it that easy for Giules, but it was refreshing to see their interactions. Just realizing now that this is a series following said ladies makes be feel better, lol. On to start book 2 then! 🥰

You write beautifully, Kasey. However, the narrator (who has a very nice voice) speaks very fast. I had to adjust to a speed of 0.75 to follow all details.
