Lame inferance. Nowhere in trhat Medrash does it say that these are the so-called "last remaning jews". Rambam (Who is the ONLY halachic authority with a conclusive work on the laws of the coming of Moschiach) clearly states that Moshiach has a lot of work before he brings about "Kibutz Nidchei Yisroel" which is what this Medrash is reffering to. All this Medrash seems to say is that the gathering of Jews won't be the burden of Moschiach rather the work will be done by the grace of the nations.... Try again.

Lame comment. It's quite clear from here and many other sources, including a plain reading of Tanach with meforshim, that the Jews return en masse on their own before Moshiach comes -- as has happened. The millions of Jews in Israel aren't going anywhere. But you're welcome to stay in galus where you desire to be. But the prophecy refers specifically to the Jewish people, who are the focus of the Biblical narrative, not any individual or collection of slaves you can point to at some point in history.
