Jim Skinner, Dave Guitar Jones & kim the harp. This entire video was shot at Betty's Grill in Nashville, TN by Kim (the harp) Votaw on 2-1-25. Dave Guitar Jones is using no special effects. Listen to that man pluck bass and blues guitar at the same time on that six string. DGJ is by far, one of the best blues men to be heard anywhere. The Jim Skinner Blues Band goes way back with outstanding performances in southern Illinois, New Orleans and Nashville TN. Jim's original compositions are played far and wide. Many of his original tunes can be heard on this live recording. You might notice that I am using an octave pedal in an attempt to fatten up the harp a little. I feel truly blessed to be a part of Jim's Trio!
