Karrine was getting booked because those artists and the casting directors knew exactly what she would do to be in those videos while on set! Karrine’s actions made it hard for other women in that industry that wasn’t putting themselves out there like that, reinventing herself does NOT change her past!! Mel has stepped away from the “vixen” persona, she still carries her name and history with pride. I really need to say this… in Patreon titled “Fashionista “ date Sept. 11, 23. Mel complains that the video girls weren’t honored in the hip hop 50th… ( in my opinion, what she really wanted to say was, I Mel Ford wasn’t honored) now on this episode 1 of her fellow video girls name is mentioned and she proceeds to trash that lady. And instead of her saying oh I’m happy for the girls having their moment she says the lady is not a video girl in so many words… How do Mel Ford get to determine who is considered a video girl… who put her in charge of the video girls…. She did this exact same thing to Buffy the Body … Mel Ford has issues and in my opinion they really showed on this episode… that’s my take and I’m sticking to it!!!!
