In your opinion, is better this way or the Great Glen Way?

I thought Great Glen Way was much nicer. A lot of JMW is along canals, disused railways and back streets with just walls of trees or buildings to see for hour after hour. It connects up a handful of things that are interesting to see but much of the walking in between is quite boring. GGW also has some canals and walking through forest trails with limited views, but I remember it as being more interesting while walking between places. The West Highland Way was by far my favourite Scottish walk though, and the one I may do again.
