Artists had a 12 inch format to work with, so it was worth labels commisioning at least competent, sometimes great artists to design covers...With the advent of CD's less so, & now it's just a digital thumbnail on a screen....Still, up until the mid 1990's, designing record sleeves was something people did full time as a profession....

just a great time for art. Think about it as the Golden Age of analogue. This was right after the 60s which broke so many boundaries for artists, also in the midst of technological advancement. Then what gave the 60s its juice, was all the musicians and artists of the 50s. Who were very poetic and illustrative. Put those two together, you got the chill, laid back, expression of the 70s in all its grace and glory.

If you look at the word "sea edge" there is a hidden message, because when you blend the words you get "sedge" as in "Sedge you couldn't sample this cause imma go crazy on this" Really intricate

nah you missing the point, the whole thing is about the word "Eraz". "Eraz"... like "erase", on a picture showing what could be one of the twin towers. That's a bit too much coincidences imo.
