This VGRB is a Halloween special featuring the joker batman from the dark knight and the new Joker movie against Pennywise the dancing clown from it. This Pennywise song is a live action battle with actors dressing up like the Pennywise clown and the Joker. It even includes references from the Joker trailer! To clear things up, I’m actually an Old Writer for ERB. I co-wrote battles such as Darwin vs. Ash and Gretzky vs Hawk! I am good friends with Peter and Lloyd and it’s just a hilarious coincidence we both made the same battle around the same time. There’s no anger, competition, or copying with this matchup. I love both versions and appreciate everyone supporting the battles!

Holy crap. This was amazing. You guys could give Epic Rap Battles of History a run for their money. What random corner of KZbin did I just end up in? The people who played Pennywise and Joker freaking killed their roles (no pun intended), and I would definitely love to see another rap battle with them. I can't believe how great the dark atmosphere is, and I love the way you guys put together this battle. I don't know if this necessarily counts, but in Team Fortress 2 there's a mode called Vs Saxton Hale, and bosses come from all over the place. I haven't seen Pennywise yet, but I'd be surprised if no one makes him one of them in the future.

its almost seems like the different characters verses were written by different people. Pennywise bars were clunky & just didn't have a natural sounding flow at all like the start the first line is said then forgotten & not matched up with the next line. and the reboots & off shoots line sounds line it had to be said causing as little change to the cadence as possible rather than having a natural flow. where as everything joker said was smooth and flowed perfectly, the joker writing & performance were outstanding

@Kuraiko Kazama Both versions have a good atmosphere, this one had a darker atmosphere because it's the Heath Ledger version and ERB's battle's fits with the comic books/animated Joker.

True, but Joker is primarily a comic book/ movie character, and Pennywise is a horror MOVIE character. It's like if he made Luke Skywalker vs Harry Potter just because there are Star Wars and Harry Potter games. It completely contradicts the series name "VIDEO G A M E Rap Battles."

@@termicrafteron2794 One, I've never heard of a Pennywise game, Two, technically BATMAN has a game but NOT the Joker, and Three, neither of them are KNOWN for their video game. If you think it's OK for a character to be used in this series because they were IN a video game, you don't know HOW many movie, TV or whatever characters HAD video games.
