Jonita Gandhi Dear don't let discourage you or even over praise you remain the way you are and concentrate on your music. you have sung these two songs, firstly both Hindi & English in their true ascent and did sound real and not phony . although others have their own rendering and you have yours. I just enjoyed hearing you and very much liked what you did. and I must mention that I am 63 years old and have heard the Hindi song when it was released and also McLachlan's Angel, Darling you don't fall from anyone they are them and you are you and we here love you.

The best version of lag ja gale I've ever heard. This is my personal favorite. The first reason is your beautiful sweet voice and you didn't really try to imitate the original song. You sung it in your voice and did it the best in your own style and the music behind was jussssssssss amazing. This song really needs limited yet soulful music. I did,nt think for one moment that you could have sang this song to any where that it would be worth listening to. +Sonny Sambucharan Try listening to one by Lisa Mishra This one is more like "Bhajan".... We all love what Lata Ji sung. It's the "Original" . Now covers are not meant to "copy the original" because that's when you get compared and this one is trying hard to be as good as the original in the notes and sur. Failed badly. When it comes to covers, i should say Lisa Mishra maintains the originality of the concept of covers. So by far, she sings the best covers, not trying to copy the original but singing it like paying tribute to the original but maintaining the freshness of a cover.

Leaving aside the angelic voice of jonita.... Everything about this song (In musical terms) is blended so perfectly....From the subtle piano (keyboard) runs to the sweet drums alongside the tabla...And the wonderful, simple yet full of medoly guitar solo...And the complementing bass lines...All these elements makes this song as powerful as the original....Both the English and the hindi....Btw I don't understand Hindi😀
