You are insanely talented my friend. It is a pleasure to watch you. It amazes me and how early you do some of the work in your paintings and then come back later and highlight them. It is amazing to watch for sequence of your paintings. I also enjoy spray painting and really want to thank you for the tutorials. I aspire to be as good as you are one day. Thank you for putting the content out

This had me spellbound. I went from total awe (in the true British sense, not the American "awesome", which has been murdered through overuse) to something bordering on worship. There is something universal about your work Sir. Thank you so much for sharing.

I want to thank you for your guidance, I am a new spray paint artist...I have gone a little different direction than most with it, but it is going really well. I have heard comments about being Bob Ross with spray paint as well... I was asked to do a demo at our county fair in front of the art exhibition building this week. It was the first time I had painted in front of anyone, and I was terrified. It went great though, even though it was the windiest day of this summer. I was there for 2 1/2 hours and made 7 paintings, and had a mob of people watching, it opened even more doors, because today I was asked to come and do my work at a car show at the end of the month. I have you to thank for helping me fine tune my art. Thank you for your videos. Much love and respect, Jennifer Hays of Carson WA.

Hey man, I know I'm a few years late, in age as well as seeing this vid as I am only just getting into spray art over the last 7 months, and learning mostly from youtubers like yourself. I have seen your painting before but thought you were way out of my depth to try and learn. Well I did a couple of nature paintings over the last couple of days after watching a Brandon McConnell dvd and now your paintings make alot more sense, so thank you for sharing your knowledge.. I do have a question which has probably been asked a hundred times, but what is the name of the painting/pallette knife you are using as all the ones I have come across have no flexibility to them and I noticed yours bends very easily. Like I said I don't know if you still answer questions but it's worth a shot. Thanks

Bob Ross lives. Btw, there was a young woman around 48th Street & Brdway who used to spray paint the cosmos, Earth, Moon and planets using jar covers for circles and spraying all over the place. Well, she developed a chronic cough and it got really bad, then I did not see her for a couple years, then she was back and sicker than ever, then no more after a short time. If you are not wearing a respirator or whatever you call it for FRESH AIR, then your paintings are costing you more than you are making. God bless you, but take care. ciao.

You might be using spray paints as a medium but your painting with sponges, news papers and plastic bags. Now understand me, I have no issues with what you are painting with or the final piece of art you have created which is very nice. You have talent but you are nor creating the painting by spraying it is only your medium. I commend you on your finished painting, very nice.

I'm new to spay painting. I thought I would try this painting, but I didnt do so hot! The sponge i used was not spongy made the bushes look funny and the waterfall look funny as well. just did not turn out. Dont think I got the colors right and to much clear paint. Really sticky. Got any hints let me know please and thank you. You do awesome at spray painting.

you could try a sea sponge ( available in make up dept stores & $2 shops alike ) and practice, practice practice...I've painted all my life and " still " learning LOL its called fun...you never make a mistake its called changing your mind..

@michaelmwm2224 жыл бұрын
When creating foliage ( specifically the first round of highlights) are you loading 2+ different shades of green - one color at a time, top to bottom - lighter shade on top of sponge & darker on bottom? ...or do u have kind of a semi mixture you made while keeping the lighter mixes on top, then just loading the sponge in a way that loads light on top & darker on bottom that you just dab into & load it all in one Fell Swoop? Also, are you using specific tones/hues or mixing basic colors to achieve the desired shades & hues of a color(i.e. variations in your foliage colors). Lastly, do you use a very dark green for the base/shadow layers of foliage or black? Thanks for your time man it's appreciated!

I'm 58 yrs old worked in custom painting for years and now fine art . Your work looks good but your medium is toxic and those spray can Are slowly killing you. Take it from me wear a respirator and frequently change the filters to that mask. Keep your gloves on! And have a very good exhaust system in your studio! I'm having heart and lung issues because of my choice of paint and lack of brains to protect myself!
