It's his pressure. He fights in slow motion but he's always punching. He throws 50-60 punches per round which is nuts for any heavyweight let alone a guy that big.

He's fighting guys that are naturally better fighters than him like Hammer, but they simply lack the athleticism. So after 2-3 rounds there's nothing left in these guys. When Joyce fights other athletes he's going to lose.

Bizarre that he has the atleticism to pull off that flip but when he fights he looks like he's stuck in quicksand. The guy has atrocious technique, is a terrible boxer, can't move his upper body, is sluggish, lacks any kind of speed but because he has stamina and a good chin he wins fights somehow. hes a decent heavyweight but not in the same league as the top heavyweights IMO. When he fought AJ before they turned pro AJ dropped him 3 times and finished him in 1 round, i think his chins good at this lower level but against the big punchers in the division he gets stopped. There’s never a boring fight with JJ in. If the other guy takes a rest, Joyce marches forward throwing lots. If the other guy fights/box’s back it’s a fist fight with gloves on. I don’t know whether he needs to work at his defence, move his head more, be hit less….or to carry on with self belief that he’s the tougher of the two and his will to win outweighs the other persons.

@@BIIIIIGMAN dubois didn't have the experience to hit him enough guys like aj whyte fury and probably wilder would be able to hit him as easily as hammer did which don't end well for Joyce. With wilder maybe he would adopt the ddd fight approach try and stay away and box behind his jab he's capable but against other guys like aj fury whyte who i don't think he would be able to outbox he would have to go for the pressure approach which involves being hit more so I'd say he can and will be kod at some point.
